A new forums idea !!!

What I am thinking is that before anyone can play Tactics Arena Online they have to register with the Forums first. They would have to state an account that they would use on the game for example i would state xXxChaos-MasterxXx because thats my account then i would state the password ########### then the account will automatically be created and then the admins can keep track of all the accounts and everytime someone has left the lobby/arena for spamming, cybering, or swearing, or kicked by an in game moderator will be recorded and the admins can decide on whether to delete them or not it will make the jobs alot easier for the admins and the mods too. I was also thinking why not we have this new system where everytime we win a match we get a certain amount of chips(or aka forums money) on the forums and it will be sent straight to our forums account and then with that money we can buy new character/units and that will be sent to our game account. For example i have 200 chips i can buy something like the dragon tyrant if i'm a grey and no one is allowed to buy 2 dragons or we can have a restriction on how many of each unit we can have. That way it would be more fair for everyone rather than everyone having to pay 5USD for a gold. But also people can pay money to get these chips. We can also keep the golds account thing it could be a special deal. Also wining these chips(aka forums money) can be like stats eg. if we win 3 stats we get 3 chips, and/or we win 20 chips we get 20 chips and so on..... It's entirely up to the admins now i stated my idea on what i think we could do and it's also up to the players of TAO. PLEASE STATE A RESPONSE.

There are between 100k to 200k accounts created on average every month. To do what you want would require MASSIVE bandwqidth usage, since vBulletin is not exactly the most easy to use forums available. To integrate the forums into the user database for the games would also increase the ease of hacking the game itself.

IF they needed more security for account creation, having a user-verified email link on server would be a million times easier to do.


Also, "buying" units and such is in the top 1% of the stupidest ideas constantly brought up. Making it forum reliant makes you in the top .001% of dumbass suggesters the game has ever seen.


As an ending note, PLEASE, at least know the forums and game you are making suggestions for. IE: Using THE SUGGESTIONS FORUM for making suggestions to be ignored.

OK, daniel. Lemme try to break this down in a bit more... nicer way then dearest Jeffrz

1) There is already a place set up on these forums for Suggestions. It's called "Suggestions". It can be found here: http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6

2) If you were to have read the sticky at the top of the Suggestions subforum, it lists things that people shouldn't try to suggest. One such item on that list is suggesting people can buy/trade units in any way, shape, or form. The reason is that many people have suggested these things before, and that TAO is a business trying to make money. They have no reason to give you anything for free.

3) You should post more apropriately in the future, whether it's here or anywhere else. It's rude to walk into someone else's house and just take something from their fridge. It's similarly rude to come into a new forum, disregard all the rules, and just make a thread wherever you want on whatever you want. In life you need to act the part of the guest when you first arrive somewhere new. Please keep this lesson in mind.

Hello, Mr. %$#@ing dumbass. I'd like to take this opportunity to guide you through the things that your one post has brought upon our otherwise normal day.
1. It's a block of text. Use some paragraphs, why don't'cha?
2. The first suggestion is so pointless. I see no reason how registering with the forums first is any different than registering with the game first. This happens to be a game site, not first-and-foremost a forum. So making a forum account required like that takes the spotlight off the game somewhat. That = loss of money.
3. I want you to go into the "previously suggested ideas" thread at the top of the suggestions forum. Now read it. See that part about not suggesting to buy or trade units because it could make the game unfair in so many different ways? Yeah, that's there so people like you don't annoy us with suggestions like this.

So, please, if you don't have any intelligent input for this forum, leave.
