So hey, here's the thing.
I have a blender, I work at a Whole Foods (easy access to great fruit with a discount), and I promised my girlfriend I'd make us some smoothies.
So now I need some combinations. What have you guys tried/had that's been really, really good?

Oh, man. I love smoothies. I have one a day.
I like to mix blackberries, blueberries, strawberry yogurt, grapes, and Nirvana Sobe. It's so good.

Non alcoholic.
Sobe huh? I think I've had the nirvana flavor and liked it, that's definitely different though.
Speaking of yogurt, they've just introduced this new yogurt at my work. It's got 22g protein per unit, fairly expensive but it's produced from icelandic cows who eat grass with low amounts of clorophyll due to being covered in snow. I've heard it's really really good too, has a consistency like sour cream.

22g!? Holy hell. That makes our lives so much easier. Choking down a 30g protein bar/shake is tough. Two of those would be more than enough. Damn.
What's it called?

They're called Skyr.
"Come and taste the new product from Iceland, Skyr. Skyr is a unique is a unique non-fat dairy specialty and a traditional national dish. Made from fresh Icelandic cow´s milk, it has been a staple of the Icelandic diet since the Vikings first brought it with them when they settled the country more than 1,100 years ago."
I tried one yesterday, they're really really good. The plain has 22g protein, the flavored has 17-18g.

I was going to do the one Alabamaboy mentioned minus the banana, because she doesn't like 'em.

Those Welches cans of frozen juice concentrate make for good smoothie additives.

Hmm, makes sense. So Puni did some homework and it turns out the Skyr is actually a type of cheese that looks and tastes like an awesome yogurt.
Crazy viking food..

Blueberry or strawberry-banana smoothies are of my favorites. I don't just like regular strawberry or regular banana, too plain. I recommened making one with 2-3 fruits, but not all juicy fruits.

I'll get laballed a spelling nazi, but I don't care. For the love of all that is good, it's spelled "Daiquiri". Sorry DD, was gonna let the first one go.
I'm a fan of orange Sherbet / Sorbet (however you say it), frozen strawberries, frozen cranberries, a little bit of crushed ice, and plain yogourt. It's got a fairly strawberry dominated flavour, but the cranberries show through. If you don't like cranberry hints, use Oranges / Blackberries instead. Very tart. If you like sweeter I'd try an orange/mango or Banana/anything mix.

Sherbet and Sorbet are two different things.
Sherbet has cream in it and is a fruit flavored.
Sorbet doesnt and is for vegans and stuff, so they can have a nice frozen dessert.

That's a very common common misspelling DB. Actually there's an accent on the third "i", not that anyone REALLY cares.
I know this is cheating, but do any of you have Booster Juice where you live? It's ridonculously expensive, but if you go and get one made there, they have the ingredients listed right on the display. I'll copy down some of the ones I've tried that have really impressed me. They have a great selection of citrus / berries / melons and combinations of them.
Edit:
I just learned something Alabama. Thanks. :)
