OK, so what I've done is linked the banner in my sig that says my Nitanius Nolund account has 1700 stats to the actual list of wins on Legends Forums. I will take out of greatest/most valued wins and post them here with desciptions.

Match: IROK vs Hatchet Warrior

Description: This is an important match, not only for myself who had heard of Hatchet's skills in battle, but for my clan Shining Force as well. My clan, being down 3-1 in our war with Netjak, desperately needed me to pull through here. We had same sides, and HW had the oddest form I had ever seen. We traded his witch for my knight and LW, and both his wards came soon after. Allowing my witch to live was costly for him, as I retreated it after killing his LW. Putting an effort to stop my advance, HW brought out his enchantress, which ultimately had it killed. He moved downfield and swapped his assassin for my cleric. Now I am down to a scout, witch, knight, assassin, and enchantress against his 3 knights and cleric. He takes out my witch, and a 34% side block on his knight saves it. I then retreat my scout and set up an a-bomb after a lucky block. He retreats his knights and I move my chanty up and set my assassin into position. He gets the frontal on my assassin which saved his knight and cleric, but I froze his knight and killed it before his other knight could get to my chanty and kill it.

It was one of the hardest fought matches I have ever played. Excellently played Hatchet, no matter the trash talking :p

Description: This will always be my most treasured win, as, not only was it my first encounter with a member of the powerhouse that is clan Judgement, but it was the first match I had played against an opponent that was 1700+. It was an opp side turt match, his furgon turt against my standard old school turtle, and he put heavy pressure on my cleric, keeping me on the defensive. By the time he managed to kill my cleric he had lost his scout, furgon, BR, and Dragon and had pulled his mud back. I set up to restone and attack and he realized he couldn't win. This was easily my greatest defensive performance in my 3.5 year career. My good friend Tarik Keyhand says it best. "Judgewhat?"

If you can brag about all of your wins, and not think it reflects on your personality, then you have another thing coming. You're seeking approval for your accomplishments, and needing to assert your greatness by showing how many people you can beat.

Not to mention the fact you flaunt "flawless" when the opponent leaves early on in the game. They still have 8 units on the board, I doubt you could actually make it through the game as a flawless. But your ego won't let you pass up the opportunity to pat yourself on the back a few more times.

It's hilarious that you post all these, then claim not to care what other people think about you. If you know you're so awesome, then how about keeping it to yourself? You can't have it both ways. You care about your reputation (not the numbers, the immaterial one) because you flaunt your wins in our faces to show how great you are. But suddenly you don't care if people respect you? It's just a game, the only person who needs to know how great you are is yourself. Be confident in your abilities, be honorable in your dealings with others, and the people around you will respect you for the person you truly are. I respect a gracious loser more than a cocky winner any day. If you can be both gracious and a winner, you are truly something special.

I do not think I'm "amazing". Far from it. Me putting together a list of wins is not bragging in any right. Do you see me anywhere say "ZOMG I PWNATARED J00!!1!!elevenone!!11"? No. Those are the wins I've acquired over the past 3 and a half years that I've played TAO. Nothing more.

But the game went great, and Nolund's a cool guy; he just wants to be acknowledged for his good games. He played a good mid rush, but kind of anti set. I won, but it was a tuff victory.

No, you didn't say "OMG I pwn!" All I'm saying is that if you didn't care about what other people thought, you wouldn't feel the need to post you wins. On these boards, we try and avoid simple bragging threads, or lists of wins, because all they do is lead to the eventual argument, I'm obviously better than you because I beat you x number of times. Battle reports should be more than wins and losses, and I realize you intend to post descriptions. But with the vast number of these threads being made (and yes, it is because of the influx of Legenders), this is not the case.

Adn you cannot in good conscience claim that you don't care what other people think. No one posts on a board just to hear them self talk, you do it to interact with others. You should always strive to gain the respect of your peers, not because you will ever meet them in real life, but because your interactions with people on the internet will in some way reflect your interactions with people in real life. You should be able to get along with most anyone, as long as they make the same effort, and writing off internet interactions as meaningless is taking the easy way out - giving your morality and your conscious the day off so you can post whatever you choose and be whoever you want without fear of consequence. I choose to take responsibility for every action of mine, and I do not lie online anymore than I would in real life. I do not treat people any differently than I would if I were face to face with them. I implore you to do the same thing, and consider that everything you do has a purpose and a reason.

I think that Legends forums have fostered this spirit of approval-seeking posters. We don't care how many people you've beaten in the past, if you want in-game respect you have to play people here. And lists of wins will certainly not get you respect as a poster, your attitude and character are what we look for. Sure, you may find more people like yourself that see wins as a measuring stick, and will give you kudos for the more you tally. But as for those of us who make these boards what they are, it will take more than that for you be accepted and liked.

I guess you can always say, I don't need your approval, but can you really look at yourself and say you don't? You're searching for approval on some level by posting in the first place, much less showcasing your greatest wins to embellish your gaming record. At this point it's up to you, and I personally will judge you by your actions right here and right now for the rest of my time on these boards. This either mean something to you, and you can prove yourself to be an outstanding person, or you can brush it off and act like it doesn't matter.

Puni, you should really pay attention. This statement is why I used the word jackass, and I only stated that it was one possible course of action for NN to take. By claiming that none of us matter, that it's just the internet, he's giving himself a free pass to act however he likes and post whatever he feels. You should treat people how you want to be treated, and the people on this board are not just internet users, they are real people. Just like NN pointed out, we are all the same. And it reflects upon your personality and your character how you treat others, especially people that have no bearing on your life. You can either be a jackass because you can get away with it, or you can be a good person, and treat people with honor and respect because you feel it's the right thing to do. I take the second option, because I can't in good conscience treat people as meaningless and act like nothing I do matters.

KB, my posting this thread was in no way shape or form a way for me to brag my wins. I am still a relatively unknown poster on these forums. This thread is basically me speaking out to the community, getting people to know my in-game skills better. I rarely play any of the members here, though I am always open for a challenge.

Now, the term "you" was a direct comment, not referring to FPS Forumers in general, but you. It was simply a statement. If you were to know me in real life you would know my personality does not change from there to the online world. I treat everybody equally, and yes, I will get into arguments with my peers, and yes, you are right. I am not here to see my own typing. In retrospect, I am not here to make everyone respect me. That is impossible. There will always be people that don't like you, it's a fact of life.

Now, judge me how you will, as you are an individual and opinions can never be wrong. But perhaps, and I too will take this advice, you should think twice about the context of a post before coming down hard on it. Because you were wrong. This was not a thread made to brag. It was a thread to get my name out in the community more.

Atleast I INCLUDED the descriptions, but I'll never make a thread to brag about wins. Pick some good people you vs as well, not everyone. The games against Mag and Bama were good, but a lot of the other's were horrible. I picked 4 of my best screenshots to post, and gave a brief explanation about them. If you're going to be stupid like I was and give a battle report about all of your recent battles, then at the least give a description so people might think twice about negging you.

There admin team and mod team do allow spam thats why in there Battle Reports section they just post there wins and nothing on what happened in the game, and there forums suck.

Everyone cares about what part of the game there from, mostly all of the FPS players DON'T like legenders or legends and i'm one of them, we don't like spam here and legenders do, so take it back to legends where it belongs.

If you see i'm on topic, duh, you legenders know nothing about foruming, i was on topic and then the topic maker went to a different topic...and was adressing me so i answered, every legender i have met are pricks apart from Omegashin, and i use to play both servers not just this one.

I would say a few dumbasses like yourself dislike them for the fact they are legenders. If you dislike a few for personal reasons, that's fine. But hating a whole server because they own your balls off is dumb :)
