Well,

This morning my computer was working fine.

I came home from my school, and it is randomly screwed up (Damn babies in the house -_-)

Anyways, the problem is kind of a strange one. It works , but the screen is either black at times, or REALLY dark, and I can barely make out what is on the screen. When I start it up, it flickers, and it does the Sony thing, but then it flickers some more and turns to black.

I'm not sure what to do. I have no external monitor, and really can't get one :/

What should i do

Check the brightness of your screen, is the resolution low?

Err

actually, no.

Changing the brightness doesn't do anything.

I'm not sure where the problem is, :/

It worked fine this morning. When I turn it on the Sony Vaio thing comes up, but then the screen starts like.. flickering. And then it goes black. Then, after a few minutes, the screen turns Insanely dark. So dark I can barely make out what is on it :/

I help those who help themselves!

Just kidding. Call your computer support people.

Bleh.

I hate talking to them.

Probably will end up calling them.

Argh, well. Not sure what this means, but i took a screenshot on that computer, and uploaded it to my photobucket. And from my moms computer it looks normal, so i guess what is wrong is on the screen or something? How hard is it to break a screen?

It happend to me on my PC. Though I was gaming, very annoying and I thought I was screwed. It seems like your video card. I suggest updating your graphic driver, then report back.

You can get the download at your graphic card manufacturers website. You will also need to know what kind of video card you have.
