The Savage is a human fighter that craves bloodshed. Because of this, he is constantly looking for a fight. The Savage will do anything to cause pain and suffering, even if it means attacking his own teammates.
HP: 38
Power: 24,12(blockable, reduceable)(can increase by 2 see below)
Armor: 8%
Movement: 3
Blocking: 26%(13% side)
Range: 1(adjacent square)
Recovery: 2
Special Ability: Bloodlust
This ability can only be activated by killing one of your own units with the Savage. The Savage will gain 2 power. When the Savage attacks a unit while under the effect of bloodlust, that unit will take the full 26 damage if it doesn't block and half damage if it does. This effect works both ways. If the opponent attacks the Savage it will also take full damage if it doesn't block and half damage if it does. In addition, the Savage will also gain 6% blocking and have a recovery of 1. Bloodlust will last for your next 4 attacks with the Savage.
I searched and couldn't find anything. If this has been done before I'm sorry.

Sounds complicated :(
He's not all that powerful even with bloodlust. I don't think it's worth wasting your own turn and saving your opponent a turn, even if you're killing one of your own units that was going to die anyway. And it certainly isn't worth killing an extra cleric that you put in for just that purpose.
Since you sacrifice a unit for the effect, bloodlust should last all game and be stackable. If you add armor for Bloodlust, raise the unit's wait (so that bloodlust takes longer to reduce it to 0) and make bloodlust generally stronger, it may be feasible, but only in formations that expect to lose a lot of units (i.e. you won't be flawlessing anyone with this unit).

I thought about making Bloodlust last all game but wasn't sure if it would be balanced. If Bloodlust were stackable should it have a power limit? I was thinking of two things:
1)Bloodlust lasts for the rest of the game. Power increase of 3, blocking increase of 10%
Power and blocking increases for each unit of yours you kill up to a max of 33 and 56%. 36 power might be pushing it.
2) Bloodlust lasts for the rest of the game. Power increase of 3, blocking increase still at 6%.
Power and blocking increases for each unit of yours you kill with no limit. However, on every 4th turn(yours not opponent's), power decreases by 1 and blocking decreases by 4%. Once power and blocking return to their original values they will no longer decrease.
Which one sounds better if any?

1) I doubt anyone is going to have the time in a battle to kill off many of his units to even get to 36... Increasing its power is a huge risk.
2) This would make the concept too confusing to handle most of the time.
I like the effort you put into this unit, but found it to be slightly underpowered. I am not a huge fan of these scrappy units (like Wisp, Berserker, and Dragonspeaker Mage) with overpowered attacks and low defenses though. I think it makes the game more luck-based..
