Among the paladins, who drive demons back to the abyss, and the necromancers, who call demons forth to do their bidding, there are a few who join both ranks. The Abyssal Exorcists, informally called Demonslayers or Devilhunters, draw demons into the physical world to be killed by ordinary warriors. Their ambitious purpose is to rid hell itself of evil.

Abyssal Exorcist
HP: 40
Armor: 0
Blocking: 50
Movement: 2
Wait: 3
Range: 2
Attack Result: Summons a Hunted Demon. The Hunted Demon belongs to the opponent.

Hunted Demon
HP: 60
Armor: 40
Blocking: 0
Movement: 3 Teleport
Wait: 2
Range: 3
Attack Result: Shadow Well (No Focus, lasts until the demon attacks or dies)

Passive Abilities:

No friendly units can attack while the demon is on wait time.
Friendly units within 5 tiles have +2 max wait time.

Shadow Well: Creates an ever-expanding field of vulnerability. While the field is active, attacks against enemy units within X tiles of the target tile are always unblockable and irreducible, where X is the number of turn cycles the effect has been active.

Let me get this straight.
So the Shadow Well's range increases by one for every turn cycle(which is both your's and your opponent's turn)right?
Also, does the Shadow Well affect all units?
It says +2 max wait, does that mean a knight will still get 0 wait for moving but 3 wait for attacking since 1 is its max wait? Or does it follow normal wait guidelines?

Shadow Well's radius increases by one every turn cycle after being cast. Hmm, I forgot something... wouldn't want it to be permanent if the demon dies. I'll change that.

Shadow Well affects enemy units only.

It follows normal wait guidelines, so +1 movement wait and +1 attack wait.

I meant for the demon's attack to be overpowered, but it looks like it didn't work out that way. Can anyone think of a past concept that has seemed unbalanceable so that I can give the opponent an incentive to actually use the demon?

I wish I could help. It's a nice start hopefully there is a finish.

What? Do you mean this unit is incomplete? OK, I implied it was by saying there was something I would like to improve, but please treat it as complete, unless I actually left something out.

"Shadow Well: Creates an ever-expanding field of vulnerability. While the field is active, attacks against enemy units within X tiles of the target tile are always unblockable and irreducible, where X is the number of turn cycles the effect has been active."

The demon selects one tile within its range (empty or occupied, it doesn't matter) to start the attack. The attack is like a focus attack, except that it doesn't end when the demon moves without attacking or survives an enemy attack.

Hey, maybe the demon should poison No Focus (ended only by moving, blockable only by barrier) in a BR pattern. What do you think of that alternative?
