Name: Black Belt
Job Class: Human Fighter

Description: Black Belts are battle experts who use a battle style known as taijutsu. The Black Belts fists' are said to be as fast as a gale storm, and strong enough to break crystal.

Hit Points: 56
Power: 20 (Unblockable)
Armor: 8
Blocking: 0% Front, 0% Side
Movement: 3
Recovery: 2
Target: 1

Retaliate: When this ability is used, the Black Belt enters a trance where he focuses his strength and agility. If an enemy unit that is 1 tile away and tries to attack the Black Belt, the Black Belt attacks the unit after that unit is finished with his attack. During this trance, the Black Belts' blocking increases by 100% from the front, and 50% from the sides. When the Black Belt is able to move or attack again, Retaliate is negated. To activate, click and hold on the Black Belt instead of the red tiles during your attack phase. When the white tile beneath the Black Belt disappears, release the mouse to unleash the attack.

It seems that im first to rate...

With stats, its a modified knight. Similar HP and attack, same movement and target, but unblockable damage, more recovery and no blocking. I guess if this is balanced, because im not sure if unblockable damage can make up for no blocking and more recovery. I guess its like a mud golem because with teleportation he can almost always get unblockable hits from behind. Hmm... Not sure for what this unit is good for. It cant serve as rush because of one turn wait after moving. And without blocking it would be finished up easily till it get to the harmful units. Someone may think that 20 unblockable damage is good for turtle. But i think thats not sure. There are many other ( and better in my opinion ) units to put in a turtle. And the special is useless. Nobody will attack him when he can get damage back.

Unless he is one of the last units, then he must be attacked somehow. Plus, retaliate isn't just good for counter attacking, it also serves a good way to block attacks.

I would rather paralyze him - i wont get retaliated and win anyway. And maybe he will block attacks, but when he moves he lose blocking. So hes easy to hit, because he cant stay there and wait till my chanty comes to him. He must stand there without doing anything, so when hes doing it, its an underpowered useless ward. But useful against scouts when retreating without a BW ( most golds dont have it ).

The retaliate keeps him from dying if the opponent only has blockable units to attack with, but other than that it's a waste of a turn. Question: Does he still retaliate if the attack kills him? For example, he's at 2 HP and uses Retaliate. A knight back attacks him. Does retaliate mean anything then?

I think this unit is balanced, but I don't see anything new in this. Good job anyhow.

There is no way that little dweeb does twenty damage, let me find something more realistic...
