This unit counts as TWO units when placed on the field, like the Dragon Tyrant. However, you cannot have both the Dragon Tyrant and the Kraken on the field at the same time (to keep the game from becoming a battle of bosses).

Attack:
- The Kraken uses its tentacles to strangle the victim. It has a range of 1.
When the Kraken targets a victim ONE unit away, it uses a close range strangle technique. It has an initial power of 15, and then it goes into focus. Every turn after, it will do 5 more damage (regardless of armor) to the victim until it loses focus.
- When a unit is strangled, it will gain a 2 turn wait. After the 2 turn wait, it is able to move out of the Kraken's grip, which makes the Kraken lose its focus.
- Strangle attack has a delay of 1.
- The Kraken is also able to unles an ink bomb. When you hold down on the Kraken, it will spray all units within 2 - 3 squares with black ink. All units hit with the ink will immediately have a status effect called +Toxic. It makes the unit lose 2 HP every turn. Any unit with Toxic will only gain 8 HP from a cleric heal. A unit with Toxic cannot have a barrier placed over it. A unit with toxic cannot also be poisoned, but it can be paralyzed. In order to escape toxic, the unit must move. (Note - A unit with toxic can attack at any time.)
