Hello to you all. The <Cherry Top Saints> clan was created at precisely 12:48PM EST time on the Armaggedon Server of Tactics Arena Online by myself, Steve12 Legend.

The goal of this clan is to strive to become one of the greatest clans on its server in terms of mainly attitude and loyalty. Following those two attributes are skill in the game and the ability to maintain a decent reputation for yourself by accepting all necessary challenges issued toward them. We, as a clan, have the primary goal of giving the Armaggedon Server of TAO FPS a better name and reputation. Many have criticized this server's name due to the lack of golds who actually play, jump greys for easy games, scam others, and/or sit on their stats for their own pleasure. I would like to let it be known that this clan will not allow ANY of that. There shall be no suspicious behavior in our clan, or one will receive the "boot", must I say it.


Now, I have been referring to the clan I have created as "we", because there are indeed three of us whom all deserve the recognition of the "Founders of the <Cherry Top Saints>". Allow me to introduce ourselves:

The Superior Leaders of the Cherry Top Saints:

Steve12 Legend: I have been playing Tactics Arena since December 2003, and began my career on the Great Lakes Server. I recently came back after a 6 month break to the Armageddon Server for reasons not important to the purpose of this thread. Today, I have started this clan.

Shaddix Legend: Shaddix was introduced to the game by myself about a year after I started, and played on the Great Lakes Server initially as well. He has led many successful clans and is indeed a decent player at the game itself.

Rico Suave: Rico Suave, known as "Fresh" due to other account names he has had, started this game approximately three years ago and is a great Tactics Arena strategist. He has been a successful leader up to this day, and Shaddix and I are glad to have him by our sides.

As you can see, we are, and always will be, the Superior Leaders of the Cherry Top Saints.


I will now list the powers the designated ranks will be given.

3 Superior Leaders: Make all vital decisions for the clan, finalize all decisions, have access to the leader account, and have the ability to tryout/expel members of the clan for valid reasons.

3. Rico Suave

2 Saints: Have the ability to tryout anyone who believes they are fit for the clan, asist Superior Leaders in making vital decisions.

2 Co-Captains: May reccommend a tryout to any higher ranks, act as mediators for clan chat.

Anyone willing to tryout for this clan must meet the following requirements:
-1000 Stats Grey/1200 Stats Gold -----
Please be wary that this requirement is only RECOMMENDED, and is not required. However, it will reflect one's experience, and will help us notice you for a tryout.

-Have a good attitude.

-Do not have grudges held with anyone.

-Must not be accussed of spamming, scamming, or cheating in any form.

-Must be loyal to a clan, hence not be known as a "Clan Hopper".

-Be respectful to all other clans.



Seeing that we have just begun, we have not chosen the roles for the ranks I have explained yet. We Superior Leaders have the power to both appoint and expel you from those various positions. Come the time we feel we need yet another Superior Leader to manage this clan, we will appoint one.

As our clan name indicates, we hope to be thought of as a very classy clan in the near future, and only hope to get along with all other clans. If anyone has held a grudge against any of us, or our members before, we are willing to make peace with you, and be friends. Because of this, we are open to any Clan Ally Requests.

As a final word, I would like to say that our clan wants you to be by our sides if you are a nice person, have decent skills at this game, and would like to have a better experience than just sitting alone while playing. We soon hope to be plentiful with nice people, and if you prove yourself to us, you will be appointed to one of the positions I have touched on. I will edit this thread when anyone is appointed, or changes are needed.

May our clan grow rapidly, but soothingly, as one day in the near or far future, the Cherry Top Saints will blossom to help the Armaggedon Server get its righteous reputation back.


On a more personal note, I am sorry to anyone that feels abandoned upon the creation of this clan. I have been tied to some people for quite some time up to this point, and I hope you can forgive me for what you feel I did wrong.

Cherry Top Saints, are a group of friends and warriors called 'Saints' whose task is to protect, and to fight against evil forces. There are also evil Saints in the story who are on the hostile side. It is said that every 200 years an evil will come back to Earth and try to rule the world, and at the same time, the Cherry Top Saints will be reincarnated to prevent the evil from accesion to power on Earth.

The story has three main chacters: Rico Suave, the Pegasus Saint, Steve12 Legend, the Dragon Saint, and Shaddix Legend, the Phoenix Saint. The task of these Saints is to protect Armageddon, the Server of Peace, and to defeat the evil forces.

Shaddix Legend (Phoenix Saint)
-When Steve needs help, Shaddix is there, though Shaddix tells Steve that if he's a real Saint, he'll get up on his own. He's very over protective of his friend, which makes him more of a mother hen in a sense. He doesn't like to be bossed around, but in most cases you'll find him in a volcano, trying to power up his cosmos and strengthen his cloth.


Steve12 Legend (Dragon Saint)
-Steve is the Saint of the Dragon. He was trained in Rozan by Libra Gold Saint, Roshi. He is very intelligent and strong. He loves his friends very much, and would give his life for them, especially for the Saint of Phoenix. Steve has a calmed and serene attitude, but can be violent when his friends are being hurt.

Rico Suave (Pegasus Saint)
-Rico is hot-blooded, and acts before having time to think, which usually results in him getting beaten to pulp. But he is also extremely willful, and as long as his life has a motivation (at first his friends, then his duty) he will keep getting up, even if each bone in him is broken. Rico is also a very sociable character, ready to laugh and have fun.


(The story and Saint names were all coppied from Saint Seiya. This is just a edited version of the anime series, fitting our game.)

-Each member will be expected to have an Orange Cleric for their avater, in order to express our clan's unity and class.
-Each Superior Leader will be expected to have a Yellow Cleric for their avater. This includes only Steve12 Legend, Shaddix Legend, and Rico Suave as of April 2007.

These requirement are subject to change.

WAR FIGHTERS:Although we have an assigned "Spartan" position, we still have current members who will be assigned a war position in the case of a war which MAY OCCUR SOON. As of 4/27/07, our current War Fighters assisting the Spartans are as follows:

Ok so I go on Army today at around 2, I wait for a long time play lordslasher and my comp had one of those auto updates for Norton Security and it lags me out. I wait friggin 20 min for a game and finally settle for some 1200. I wait another 20 min and play BackCracker. Nobody else would play so I got off. Went back on at 7 and waited for 30 min for a game, finally I challenged HoodedH just to be dsm rushed, had the most unlucky game and lost. I sign off and got back on at 9, I waited 1 hour for a game, and NOBODY would play. Shady has been saying for 2 days that he would play me and he backs out and says he wont know. So here I stand right now, pissed off at Army and all the noobs who lobby sit and make up lame ass excuses to not play a game. Pathetic

It is obvious that recruiting for this clan will be tough, as every person with at least a little bit of skill in Army not tied to a clan yet is either a stat whore, or has some serious issues. It will be difficult, but I think it can be done. We will need to take this pretty slowly.

Your first post says that in order to gain entry you must meet certain stat requirements, then goes on to say that they are not necessary, and are only recommended.

Notice how I kept the font the same at the top of that paragraph. That is a recommendation, hence it will be difficult to get a tryout without getting the stats (because you won't be noticed). Then I said it is not mandatory because sometimes one's stats don't mean anything.

I changed the font after that because those other bullets are written in stone and must be followed.

Rico, number 1 is totally right, number 2 doesn't apply to our clan really, and number 3 is half way right, you don't always have to play somebody worth a damn, usually they wont even play. But you should play good people at least half the time if anything.

Cannabis I am not posative who you are, I have an idea.. but I do not want to say it and look like an idiot, but with that aside, I really appreciate your support in my abilities to be a leader and my views towards actually playing the game.

Balls have nothing to do with me playing you, or anyone else for that matter. This game was invented by Seed for the purpose of strategic game playing and clan/guild domination. I do not think he wanted it to be for people to not play.. but take up server space. I suppose you could argue that you do not have to play because you pay your dues (if you are gold, and pay for your own account), but I will always stand against you in that because even if you do pay that five dollars a month, you are a waste of server space and cause lag for others who are trying to play this game.

So what I am trying to say really is that I play you because I like to play. Sure I like my stats, and when they get high and pretty looking I like to keep them that way, but I do not decline game after game.. or play greys.. or play people who absolutely suck. To keep my stats and my reputation I just keep playing, if I lose, which I do alot I play more. In turn I keep playing because I keep losing eventually and that is how it should be. No one sitting on their stats.

I have to admit, I haven't been playing a large role as a leader yet except starting the clan, making this thread, and making a few minor recruitments. Cam and Rico have been doing everything, especially Cam. And, you really need to stay out of other people's business here. You have enough to worry about yourself. I just want to set the record straight... i wasnt happy in NRG.. they let noobs into the clan that gave themselves a bad reputation.. members from other clans tried to undermine my skills because i was in NRG. Since i have been in CTS i have gained nothing but respect from all of Army and even fellow NRG members with the exception of NKB. I am glad to be a part of CTS, by making the clan webpage, trying to recruit potential ranked members, and hopefully becoming a leader in either the near or distant future, I hope to help them get ranked #1 on the armageddon server!

Saints have access to leader accounts, and we can start you out there for now. We can add a superior leader if necessary, but for now, you can start out there. The only difference is basically that what the superior's say, goes. We cannot give you leadership right away, because of you guys' sudden activity of clan leavings, even though the last one was to join us. We are new and not ready for that commitment. But if you prove what is necessary to leadership, it shouldn't take too long for us to figure it out. We trust Anubis enough now, because he left everything he had back in NRG for us. But I would seriously consider this, and think of how strong it would make our clan. Thanks for your consideration :bigsmile:

Guys, please don't get the idea that Mantis is an "ass". But, you could consider him being one right now for butting into our business. However, I think he may have stopped. I don't call him anything, nor think anything of him, until he takes some actions. He, on the other hand, refers to Shad and I as "asses", for really no valid reason. Let him bicker, but I hope you can see why we are not getting along with him right now.

Aside from that, the rankings are today. Shaddix told me he thinks we might place 4rth! (And last week we were 8th in the Clan Rankings).
