I have yet to see someone here get "ripped off".

If someone pays $5 they get an account. If the break the TOS or abuse the game/staff that account is deleted.

They give you what you paid for.

That's my point. It's not really a TAO right, but a right nonetheless. If I pay $5, I have the right to get a Gold account. TAO staff and affiliates have the right to take it away, but not until I get it first.

Except that your "right" to an account is still a privilege. If they do not want your business, they can simply refund the payment and not give you an account.

(note, I said can, now would, will, might or have. We all know Bills won;t turn down that $5)

By FTC I assume you mean Federal Trade Commission. Who would tell you to not be stupid. At BEST they would tell you to simply dispute the payment via Paypal to get the money back.

I can 100% guarantee the FTC is not going to get involved over $5 you say you paid and never got anything for. Especially since TAO is a Canadian company.
(now, the BBB would at least take a report. But TAO is run from Canada, so even then they wouldn;t do anything)


But you can feel free to continue trying to make dramatic statements about what you would do if they didn;t do blahblahblah. Because in the three years they've been doing this, they have yet to not gold an account if someone follows the instructions properly.
