I think that in the Battle Reports section there should be a sub-forum for just having a portfolio of your wins. Much like Legends forums has. This would be nice because I enjoy watching people post their wins, but everyone always pisses and moans at them. So, this would be good because It'd make me happy :)

So... a closed list for each player that likes to post their wins and losses there that only they can edit?
That sounds like a bit of work, but I won't totally knock the idea. I guess the alternative would be to make a single thread for each person, like a CAU library, and have links with s/s's and a few battle descriptions.

No, others can post in it.
It's just a section devoted to SOLELY posting wins, not reports.
I find looking at the wins some people have interesting, but every person that makes a win portfolio in Battle Reports gets flamed to no end. This would get rid of the flaming :)

Battle Reports.
For every win there is a lose. It goes hand in hand.
Maybe lets look at not flaming the "I Won" threads, instead of trying to reform something that could work.

Because bragging is all one-sided. The amount of brag doesn't reflect the skill of the player, it reflects their ego. None of the people who list their wins talk about how many games they lost, or how many times their opponents embarrassed them in a game. Battle reports actually give an insight into the battle, and sometimes the loser actually posts the game too. It's a way to tribute a truly well-played game, on both sides.
Lists are unfair to the losers of the game. I could play someone 7 times, win 6, and lose once by 4 units. That one win gets posted, and it looks bad on me. But what if I didn't s/s the 6 wins, and the time I nearly flawlessed their rush with my turt? All you're doing is saying, "look at me, I'm so good at this game, I beat all these people!" It's ego-stroking, I have never liked it, and I never will. And I will think less of anyone who posts one.

Giving normal users the ability to lock and post in their own thread. That was for my scenario, though, and it was totally off course.

What's right with a little bragging? Seriously, post only your losses for an entire month. Then we'll talk. :p

Having a portfolio with my games would be nice... I like the idea, but it might take up a lot of space for these forums.

I always lose.
Got that right. ;)
Win Portfolios aren't a bad thing, but I do prefer a good Battle Report to a collection of screenies with no story behind them.

I prefer the same. I have to get used to that over at Legends now..
