Description: A wizened little man dressed in somewhat tattered team color clothes, a smith's apron and mismatched shoes. Has a monical that he uses to look at things, and various tools inside a vest he wears.

Hit Points: 25
Power: ---
Blocking: 0%
Armor: 5%
Movement: 2
Recovery: 3
Attack: Builds a contraption that can then be placed on the board.
Attack Pattern/Style:
- The Tinkerer must focus for five turns and have at least one friendly unity to the N,S,E or W of him while he does so. During those five turns that(those) units may not move away from him while he studies them (if they do, the Tinkerer's focus breaks). After those 5 turns he creates a contraption baised on their abilities. Some exaples:

Scout Contraption:
Hit Points: 40
Armor: 15%
Power: 15
Recovery: 3
Attack: Shoots an arrow up to 4 spaces away, limited by LoS.

Cleric Contraption:
Hit Points: 35
Armor: 25%
Power: 10 (heals)
Recovery: 3
Attack: Heals one unit up to 3 spaces away.

*These are just some ideas, feel free to add you own suggestions, as well as feedback on the unit. I plan to add more when I can and refine the unit too (also looking into possible combination contraptions, such as a Knight-Enchantress Contraption, or a Dark Magic Witch-Assassian Contraption!).*

Not a bad idea, but some very major drawbacks.

Having five units bunched up like that with none of them able to move is just asking for a pyro/witch attack. OR, if those are dead, a single scout could mess up five turns of waiting.

Other thing, that unit would take forever to finish. I mean, think about how many different combinations of four you can have. Cleric/dragon/knight/enchantress

What can you do with all those four, you know? lol.

You only need 1 unit, to the N, S, E, or W of the tinker.

So

S
T

or

TS

or

ST

or
T
S

Yep, you only need one unit beside him, such as you've shown Tequila_Budgie. That unit would be able to attack/block, etc... just not move away from the tinkerer. Having the tinkerer be able to build contraptions off of more than one unit was just a thought of mine... it might work better to just have him be able to study one unit instead of the option of up to 4.?.
