I haven't made a thread in awhile.
So I'll tell you about EVE and my problems!

So, anyway, I had always known about EVE (www.eve-online.com). But I have never known what it really was.

So, today while I was looking for torrents, I saw an ad for it. It looked cool, so I clicked it, went to the website, and was totally blown away by it. $130 a year, and it's a steal. Awesome game. I totally want to join it.

So, anyway, I decided to try out the 14 day trial. Just to make sure, ya'know?
So I download it. 40 minutes later it finishes. My anti-virus software thinks its a virus, and deletes it.
So I try again. Same result.
I'm trying a third time now, and when it hits 97% I'm going to disable my anti-virus. Either I get the trial, or my computer gets mucked up.

:)

Current statistics on me (and yes, this is totally random):
My teeth hurt.
I have a sore throat.
Stargate is on.
I don't feel like playing Americas Army.
The download is at 71%.
I'm picking my nails.
Monkeys are funny.
My tongue is digesting in my mouth.
I need a drink of water.

Whee!
The download finished, and I got it!

I now realize it was a mistake to turn my anti-virus back on. It deleted it.
Currently at 4%.

Obviously your anti-virus is smarter than you.

Seriously.

Seriously.

Well, if that were true, 20,000 people are in trouble.

But actually, turns out the file is corrupted. So, I'm going to have to wait 'till they put up a fixed version.

Bumpdy Bump. Does anyone play this game? I've been looking for a new game to play (TAO has been my first and only online game) and this game looks pretty promising. A fairly big community and growing (300,000+) which is small compared to other MOMOMGOWGRPG's or whatever but it's big enough for me.

Anyone have and insights and comments about this game? Here's some videos.

In those teaser vids they make their case well, but in reality meh it's not all that fun.

And again...

Yeah I'm not very big on mmos. I played Ragnarok for about 3 days and I think that is the longest I have played any mmo.

I played Runescape for 2 months or so when I was 14. The first month I took it serious, the second month I spent all my time griefing.

If you're looking for free stuff. I used to (and sometimes still do) go around spelunking for MMO's Or FPS's. Granted I didn't want to pay money for a game I wasn't going to play my whole life unless it was worth it.

2 moons, 12 Sky, Conquer, Gates Of Andaron, Shin Megami Tensei. Those are all ones I stayed maybe a good month or so on, before realizing I didn't want to devote 98 years of my life to reach a certain level.

Shooter wise, Gunbound, Gunz, Wolf Team, among a few others. Gunbound would probably always be my first to go back to, any game that has a community as big as that and a state / country / world ranking system is always a plus.

Alright thanks for the input.
