Hello there. Despite the fact that I'm new here, I've been playing the Tactics games (particularly Core) for some time now. You might think it's a bit sad, but I've gotten winning Core with no losses down to a science.
Anyway, as the title suggests, I was watching a music video recently and I got thinking that a music video tribute to the Tactics series might be cool.
This was the video I was watching (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/245269). When I first started thinking about it, I created what I call an MMP (a mental motion picture) that features, set to the same piece of music as the video in the link, featuring the various units from both tactics games doing their thing.
It was alright, but then I got a weird thought and started creating an MMP starring only the Tactics Core units which was very similar to the actual video. I replaced the seven characters with the units from your party in Core.
The blue guy (Sonic) in the bottom middle became the hunter. I figured that, of the units in the player's party, he looked the best and most natural doing the lead singing
The yellow guy (Tails) on the middle left became the ironclad sentinel and the red guy (Knuckles) on the middle right became the shadowfist fighter. They both looked pretty good dancing (well, the fighter was dancing and the sentinel was mostly just doing tricks with his sword) behind him.
The pink girl (Amy) in the top left became the mystical healer and the white bat girl (Rouge) in the top left became the shadowblade assassin (or the other way around). They were the obvious choices.
The blue robot (Metal Sonic) in the top center became the daemon.
Finally, the red man (Eggman) in the top right became the red wizard.
You might be wondering where this leaves the Templar mage. I figure he could be either helping the red wizard or working the lights and sound effects.
You might replace the six additioal characters that appear towards the end with the enemy units from Core.
Also, you might put the Tactics Arena units in the foreground as a raving audience.
Of course, the above would be more or less just a rip off of someone else's work, but the point I'm making is that I think a Tactics series music video would be cool and that I can well imagine it.
What do you think?
