Ok, I already kinda made up my mind on this but I still want to hear what you guys have to say. There's this kid Matt in my grade and he has been running his mouth all year about me. Kindof a long story but I'll sum it up.

PAST FALL - I was going out with a girl, and all he did was bad talk about me to her and it helped destroy our relationship. He asid he was going to do something but never did.

FEBRUARY - This girl he was obsessed with put me higher than him on her top friends on myspace. He left a comment saying
"How do you put DAVE THE JEW higher than me"
"Dude, honostly I'm not in the mood, stop running your mouth."
....Kept going back and forth
Then he said this (He's Itailian, and half my family is Jewish) "I'm so happy my grandparents killed your people"
I decided to be the bigger man and still let it go.

LAST MONTH - He says ok we're cool now.

THIS WEEK - Another girl put me in front of him on myspace. He says shit again. I tell him to keep his mouth shut.

TODAY - He's been telling people that we are going to fight at all these different places, but never said one word to me. I sit down in English and he says from across the room
"Hey, wanna fight after school"
"Why don't you fucking do something right now bitch, you're all talk"
...He come over...pushing starts...he throws a punch and missed terribly....substitute teacher breaks it up and doesn't call the office.

JUST NOW - I get this comment from him
"fuck u pussy fite me after skool 330 at Supior Tube at the base ball fields. i aint fighting u in skool cuz i already have prier police incidents. so fuck u Jew fite me after skool "

hmmmm i really hate fighting. I used to fight alot and got a reputation but really it doesnt solve a whole lot. the kid will still talk after you beat the crap out of him but the difference will be you know you can kick his ass. The kid sounds like a very insecure person and probably is much more bark then bite. If i were you i wouldnt get caught up in a huge fight, instead i would basically let it be known that you feel that he is all talk and you dont want to fight him because there is no point. Once you do that 1 of 2 things will happen. He will come up and blind side punch you in school at which point you then lay the kid out and make sure he never wants to be in the same room as you again. Option 2 is the kid will keep talking all this shit, keep being afraid to actually fight you, and in the end you will look better because he will eventually come across as the little insecure asshole that he really is.

Here's a few ideas. You mentioned he threw a punch and missed horribly. Instead of fighting him, enter the fight but don't go on the offensive. Make him look like a fool as he misses you. Sidestep, use his weight against him to push him in whatever direction he comes at you. Defend, and taunt, and walk away. If his friends gang up, ask if they think his friend's such a loser that he can't fight fair. If he goes to attack you from behind, call him on his cowardice. If he wants to make this public, make him the fool. You're a smart kid. Your words will do much more damage then your fists. Make him out to be a fool.

Yeah yeah, easier said then done. Get ready to explain your bruises to you mom. Get ready to explain a call from the principle to your mom. Oh by the way, if you find a girl who is impressed or even tolerates you for either winning a fight, or losing one, let me know.

Ok, I already kinda made up my mind on this but I still want to hear what you guys have to say. There's this kid Matt in my grade and he has been running his mouth all year about me. Kindof a long story but I'll sum it up.

PAST FALL - I was going out with a girl, and all he did was bad talk about me to her and it helped destroy our relationship. He asid he was going to do something but never did.

FEBRUARY - This girl he was obsessed with put me higher than him on her top friends on myspace. He left a comment saying
"How do you put DAVE THE JEW higher than me"
"Dude, honostly I'm not in the mood, stop running your mouth."
....Kept going back and forth
Then he said this (He's Itailian, and half my family is Jewish) "I'm so happy my grandparents killed your people"
I decided to be the bigger man and still let it go.

LAST MONTH - He says ok we're cool now.

THIS WEEK - Another girl put me in front of him on myspace. He says shit again. I tell him to keep his mouth shut.

TODAY - He's been telling people that we are going to fight at all these different places, but never said one word to me. I sit down in English and he says from across the room

Why do a lot of you think fighting would be better than outsmarting him? Because outsmarting him seems like a much better option to me...
