Taunting is something you'd say to your best friend if you were competing against one another. You're usual "come on, is that the best you got?" The purpose is to get a little response, but you generally aren't being genuinely malicious.

Flaming is a response to something. Unlike the other two, a flamer doesn't initialize things, he just points out the noobness of something that's already been said or done. "Don't make a new thread about what you had for lunch you noob."

Trolling on the other hand is done with the malicious intent to upset one or many individuals. No point is made, and truth is generally not used at all. We've seen several instances of admitted trolling by Obi-Wan in the last 24 hours, including Method bringing forward one of his quotes (something like 'do this cuz it will upset uni'), as well as one of his quotes I stated in my last post, along with the fact that he admitted to try to do anything to hurt Darkness for getting Omega deleted.

Now I will say that most of those quotes I compiled have the general context where someone respectfully or intellectually states a valid qualm they have with either obi-wan, or his clan, and gets those quotes as responses. This is clearly escalated by Obi-Wan, time and time again. People are generalized as being affiliated with me should they disagree with him, and then condescended to. Equi DEMANDED me to explain my reasons (a kid asking a 33 year old to "explain" himself, lol) for the whole TeamUSA thing. Well, I was a good sport and did. I kindly explained to Jeff and others. Equi was the only one who has been fighting this the entire way. In fact the very first conversation I had with Equi went like this in the GL lobby:

Me: "Please read the forums, I explained everything in some posts"
Equi: "Forums are down"
Me: "Well, wait for them to come back up"

It's kinda like when you see a TV or Magazine ad about Ford Motor Company doing oil cleanup in Alaska. People are like, "yeah, who cares, they should be doing that anyway". Then they flip the channel or flip the page. But the impact is already made. The person knows that Ford is doing stuff. Thus a image that Ford is a company that is "engaged" and "involved" is made. It is a positive image the the viewer gets.
The 1% that actually take the time to read exactly what Ford is doing in Alaska to clean up the oil is prolly the critics anyway.

1. I was told by Mag, Dape and others early on (like 4-5 months ago when I first started) that being in the top 10 is important and getting ranked. This is why I posted what I did in the old quote you pasted. Since then I have learned that the important thing here in TAO is to support players who want to have fun. Players who do not have multiple golds, are boosters, etc.. you know, good and respectable TAO mambers.
I am here for many reasons. My entertainment, PR and business related purposes, to check up on sponsored players to make sure they are being good, etc... True, 99.9% of TAO players will not need the services of my company. But I have already had many TeamUSA members say that they told a friend or family member about my company. Works for me. However, my primary concern is to create loyal ties with existing customers vis PR releases which 99% of then won't read anyway. But it does make an impact.

I also still need to be here because I am the only clan leader. Punishment is like co-leader but only I have access to the leader account. Also, $50 per month is not a "waste" as you put it. I spend more than that on Starbucks coffee in 1 week.

I feel ya on everything but the gas part.. I'ma try to budget myself for 20 bucks per week.. and save the rest. Excluding toll and a little gas money here and there for my rides. But I really need to start saving for a car and car insurance this summer. good thing we get an extra couple weeks this summer. :)

What the hell, $2.51 for a Starbucks latte? Not even. It's like $3.75 in San Francisco and like $4.00 in Japan. Add a pastry or a sweet and I dump $10 into Starbucks every visit.

Do you eat your parents food and sleep in their house?
If so your only real expense is gas. If you drive alot then $25/week is nothing.
