No. Bad idea. The game is balanced and even as it is. Having wards not count towards the final count will cause people to have a Lightening Ward and several BW with ten other units. It will create total unfair games.

The problem is that everyone would include a Barrier and Lward in there setup (not to mention that Barriers on in drops). You might say that everyone already uses a Lward so what difference would it make. well in truth not everyone uses a Lward, just alot of people do, because it can be a useful unit. But people that do use the Lward do so at a cost, they chose to include the Lward over another unit. As it stands making a setup is a delicate balancing act, as it should be.
