The name 'The Einherjar' originates from Norse mythology. The Viking warriors are counted amongst the greatest fighting forces the world has ever seen. From this awesome fighting force only the bravest and most powerful would deserve entry into 'The Einherjar'.

In Viking warrior societies, dying in battle is the highest honor a man can attain.
When a viking warrior, who is worthy, dies in the field of battle the Valkyries escort their spirits to Valhalla, home of the glorious 'Einherjar' and their lord, king of the norse gods, Odin.

In Valhalla these magnificent warriors spend their days training and fighting each other in vicious and glorious battle to perfect their skills and fighting prowess under the watchful eyes of the mighty Odin, Lord of the Norse Gods. At the end of the day all wounds are healed and all the dead from the days training are revived. Then the nights are spent feasting at Odins side served by beautiful maidens where they will eat only the greatest food, drink to their hearts content and enjoy the festivities until the night is over. They rise the next day without worry of ill feelings.

The Einherjar go through this extreme training in preparation of the Ragnarok; The final battle that will bring about the end of the world in a destructive and epic war. On the day of the Ragnarok only the finest and greatest of The Einherjar will be honourably chosen to follow Odin and the rest of the norse gods into battle with the forces of Hel, the godess of death, and the Giants in the greatest battle the world will ever know. All hope to be chosen as part of the strongest force the world will ever see in the battle to end all battles.

On the day of Ragnarok, the bravest of the Einherjar will march with Odin to battle the frost Giants, the enemies of the gods, in the battle that will end the World.

About Us

For those of you that have never heard of The Einherjar, it is because it is on a server that does not exist. It was started by a man named Bripster back in 2006 and has since become a strong and active clan on the server of Legends.

Why Choose The Einherjar?

The Einjerhar is not only a strong clan with good members, but it was lots of members. It's clan forums are the most active and well-kept forums that I have ever seen from a TAO clan, and they have recently been upgraded to vBulletin. This is a clan I have come to love, which is why I am bringing it to the TAO commercial servers.

What Can The Einherjar Do For Me?

The Einherjar is a clan filled with newer members and veteran players alike. We can help train you to become a better player in certain aspects. Our clan trainer BLaCK iCe can teach more than the basics for all styles except for double scout gold, but there are other members that excell in those aspects that can help you master the art.

The Einherjar clan forums will also be a source of social activity and there will be special user groups for members that have high reputation and help contribute to the forum. Through the forums you can attain a leadership role, as well as many other groups, which even I do not yet know about.

What Server Is The Einherjar On?

We plan to start out with Great Lakes and Revelations, but as you know, Great Lakes is not acting correctly lately so we must wait, though I would like to open recruitment as soon as possible, so we can start out strong when we form on Great Lakes.

How To Join

Joining The Einherjar is simple. All we want is to know that you actually want to join the clan, so we ask that you register on the clan forums and request an invitation via a thread there. Stats are not a priority here. We want strong members, but not necessarily only high stat accounts. We need team players, and players that are experienced in the game that do not mind helping out our newer players.

Currently, as GL is acting strangely, there is nobody that can give you an actual invite, but if you register and apply, we can invite you on Rev, or at least get you prepared to join.

+ Highly respected members that have no chance or being denied (ie vets, mods)
# Note: not all vets will get an automatic instatement to the clan. They must be highly respected and well known players (eg Mithrandir, monkus)
+ Winners of invitational tournaments of the clan (more information to come in the future)
* Members must pass a certain test, which could be any of the following:
o Defeating a set number of clan members in various styles
o Reaching a certain stat by a set date
o A test of loyalty

Clan Rules

1. Golds must not grey jump unless they are using a grey form.
2. All members must respect the members of the TAO community
* No open flaming/harassment no matter what the player's reputation is. You have a clan to uphold the reputation of.

Any member that leaves the clan without a valid reason (eg joining the FPS Grey Team clan on Revelations for a try-out tournament) will be removed from the clan user group and be acted as though they were never a part of the clan to begin with. This means they must request a poll to get back into the clan.

Any member found breaking the above rules will be automatically removed from the clan, and depending on the severity of the rule breaking, will receive a temporary or permanent ban from the clan on all servers (this includes Legends)

Any leader found breaking any clan rules will be given a much harder punishment.

This post will be updated as I (or the other leaders) see fit.

Just a bit of infoon my end, I usually don't ask anyone below 1000 stat into the clan unless they do well against me in grey (for those of you that have played me, I'm not really difficult to beat grey vs grey. Also, I dont make a poll for people who jump me and start bugging me to let them in. In my opinion those people will give more of a negative rep to the clan, even if they are good players. The only people I will try to get into the clan are respectful players with a decent grasp of grey/gold. To date, I have found none.

Also your clan is a pathetic gathering of cheats and abusers, including yourself and your highest ranking member whos known booster (and far from your only one). You know me bud, I dont like to play with the truth and wanted to say it how it was and how it was deserved. Also, the only things that made it any good in any way was the MG members that joined it briefly. But then that was simply MG in another clan for a brief moment. Most of them were also in a few other clans at that same time (including ours)
