Alright guys...I thought this would be a good thing to reinstate. Some people were having fun, but then it just kind of died. I am starting fresh rather than just taking over the other one because the people in the last tourney were rather inactive. Anyways, I along with Lone Star and Nutbuster will be running this tourney, so we will keep things up to date and the such. Any problems would come to me, because I am more actively on the forums than Lone. Now that you know whats up...I will tell you about the tourney.

Good, Now Let's Get Started. :)

Each Piece Represents A Player On A Soccer Team:
Knight - Offense for the Win!
Assassin - Midfield for the Backup!
Furgon - Good Defense is the Best Offense!
Scouts - Outside Wings with Speed and Range are Deadly!
Frost Golem - Goal Keeper; "Thou Shalt not Score!"
Barrier Wards (May be Replaced by Other Doubled Units) - Goal Posts; "Tra la la la la!"

How To Play

The Object
Simple Really, Score 3 Goals by Killing the 3 Shrubs in Your Opponent's Goal.

The Laws of the Game

On The First Turn, Each Player Must Create Their Goals. (Attack with Furgon, he can't be moved on that turn though.)
You May Not Attack Goal Posts.
Once A Goal Is Destroyed, You May Not Create Another Shrub In It's Place, But You May Move Into The Goal.

Offensives

Disconnecting Will Automatically Result in You Losing The Match.
For Each Player You Have Out Of Position You Will Get A Yellow Card For; But You Can Still Win The Match. *Position Talked About Below*
If You Break Any Of *The Laws of the Game - Listed Above* You Will Recieve A Red Card.



Position
Knight - May Move Freely Anywhere In Front Of Their Starting Line, Cannot Go Behind It.
Assassin - May Not Go On The Edges Of The Board. You CAN USE the Assassin Bomb.
Furgon - May Go On, Not Pass, The Middle Row.
Scouts - No Limits.
Frost Golem - May Not Go Past, But Can Go On, the 5x5 Square Set By The Goal Posts & Knights.
Barrier Wards (May be Replaced by Other Doubled Units) - May Not Move Or Attack.


Setup, Times, & Card Restrictions

GamePlay Setup
Games Will Be Played On Revelation Server.
Teams: 8-16 Teams
Players: 2 Players Per Team
Each Team Can Pick A Country To Represent.
Now Let Me Define Country: A Group of States or Providences.
Good Examples: United States, France, Australia... etc.
Bad Examples: Antarctica, Atlantis, The Pacific Ocean... etc.

Times
Preliminary Rounds: Depending on the Amount of Players, 1-3 Weeks.
Quarterfinal, Semifinal, and Final Rounds: 1 Week or Less.

Card Restrictions
Throughout the Tournament, You May Recieve 1 Yellow Card, Two yellow cards will dq you for the rest of the round...the games you DID play will count though. So if you play all 12, but he gets his 2nd yellow card in the 4th game, then you guys will have enough games to move on if your percentage is good enough. Yellow cards are reset at the end of each round.
At the Distribution of a Red Card, You Will Be DQ'd.

We only need 8 teams for this...but in our opinions the more people involved the better this tourney will be, so you guys looking for a team need to find a teammate or team up together, you included, nut.

When Syko and I were traning for this tourney we noticed something fatal. For us, whoever got first turn won..is this the case for everyone? If not, tell us your strategies since the person with first turn is bound to be more aggresive. Leaving him in the offensive position and a move ahead of Defense, and since you are only protecting 3 shrubs in the end, offense will have an eassy time winning from there..

Everyone will play single round robin in their group.This way each person will get 4 or 6 games, so 8 or 12 games per team.

You do not play your partner.

If we only get 12 people...then there will only be 3 teams in each group.

At the end of each round, you and your partner's score will be added together and the top two from each group moves on.
