OK, so this isn't really a bug, but it's a quirk in the game mechanics.

A character that is paralyzed will not move aside for another friendly unit. This makes perfect sense.

An enchantress will hold units under paralysis as long as she maintains focus. The focus is broken when she moves, attacks, is hit or paralyzed. Again, makes sense.

However, a friendly unit paralyzed by an enchantress will not allow her to pass by, even though to move she would first have to break focus. I understand the logic from the game engine's point of view, but IMHO it's a flaw.

The idea behind that is that when a unit is paralyzed, it is completely captivated and will not do anything. It cannot block, move, attack, nothing.

That is what makes paralysis so good in the hands of an expert. The thing with friendly units makes the enchantress balanced.

Yes I understand that, it's just when the enchantress moves she releases the paralysis. So the unit would be able to move out of the way. However the game doesn't seem to realize this and so it assumes the unit won't be able to move to let the enchantress pass.

Well, it happens simultaneously. It's the same way with a barriered unit. When the ward and the barriered unit are struck in the same turn, the strike will bounce off of the barriered unit even though the ward will that turn lose focus and thus cease barriering.

The disenchant and the move are occuring at the same time. If you want, you can imagine the unit so captivated that it is pausing to wipe the drool from its mouth while the enchantress begins to move and is thus too busy (or ashamed) to move.
