I was not, it was absurd. A 4 Touchdown, 200 yard game for a RB was worth less than a 2 Touch Down, 300 Yard Game, 30/50 game for a quarterback.. Which is an fairly good, not amazing performance for a quarterback, where as the Running Back would be having a Career Game. The first one might not even have happened last year, LT had 4 TD's, just not with 200 yards. Where as the second one did happened.

Quarterbacks where overvalued, and in a league with 20 people, not everyone could have a stellar quarterback, where there is only 5 stellar ones. A good week for a quarterback can single handidly win someone a weak. The most a non quarterback EVER got was 30, where as some quarterbacks averaged 20 some points a week, with some 50 point weeks. It was COMPLETELY unbalanced, and absurd.

Twice as many points for completions as negative for incompletions imbalances it. Its not about being accuarte, but rather just throwing the ball alot. 25/50 is the same as 15/20. 25/50 is 50%, which is BAD for a quarterbakc, and they would be getting the same points as the second person for this(12.5). 12.5 for a BAD performance is just silly. Not only that, Going 25/50 is better than 2 Touchdowns, which is a stellar performance for a wide receiver, good for RB.

Points for Yards for Quarterbacks was the same as Yards for running backs, while a 200 yards for a running back is an AMAZING performance, 200 Yards for a quarterback is about average(3,200 for the season).

Finally, 4-5 people agreed with me, and no one disagreed.

Don't you get it? Its about being balanced! An average Quarterback should Score close to the average running back. Average Quarterback, 20 some points a week. Average running back? 7.

Your quarterback was in the top 10, most likely top 5 for you to get that far.

QB should average slightly more than Running backs, who Average more than average WR, who average more than Tight Ends. Average defense should be somewhere around Running back average, that is more up for debate.

If you want, I'll commish, I don't really want to, I just want a decent scoring system. Or I'll simply write up a scoring system, and you can see how you like it. But the problem with your scoring system was it does not reward a quarterback for being good, rather throwing a lot of passes.

Hell, I'll right up a decent scoring system that favors quarterbacks, back not to the degree of randomness yours did. I mean, if your quarterback was facing a good Defense, you just weren't gonna win the week.

Scoring System:
QB's: TD's:6 Yards Per Point: 40 Int: -2 Sack: -.5

RBs: TD's:6 Yards per point: 25

WR: TD's:6 Yards Per point: 20 Reception: .5

TE: (Same as WR)

Defense: Sack: .5 Int: 2 Fumble Recovered: 2 Touchdown: 6 Safety: 4 Blocked Kick: 4

D-Player: Tackle: .5 Int: 3 Sack: 3 Fumble Forced:2 Touchdown:6

lol, I hate the completions/incompletions things. 4 top 5 are quarterbacks, 21 top 25 quarterbacks. This year. Donovan McNabb... played 8 games, is better than all but LT besides QB's. Rex Grossman, is AWFUL, and is better than all but LT. Peyton has an average year, and had 110 more points than LT, who had the year of a career.

Peyton gets +181 from completions -24 From incompletions. +157 for the whole deal, take that out, and LT is #1, as he richly deserves. Someone who has THAT kind of a year, should be #1 in points, not #4.

Fry, thats what makes it such a challenge. QB needs to be revised, but amount of players worked last year. Maybe take away a WR, or make it TE/WR.

Default rules are ok, but it's much better to scale your league to the number of players you have.

For example you get like 14 guys in a league you could have 2 starting qbs 2 starting rb's 3 wr's 2te def kicker. and 5 subs

Get up to 20 teams then go with 1qb 1rb 1rb/wr 2 wr te k def and 4 subs

The default scoring system is decent, but it can definately be tweaked to make it better.

Well Yahoo doesn't have live scoring updates unless you buy stat tracker. So you can't see how many points your players scored until the next day.

Thanks to allstar, my team is majorly improving too. I'll be trading Walker for Burress, with Walker only getting less than 1 point last week? I don't mind. Burress is the absolute #1 for the giants, and he pwns. Also, I trade away Dallas Clark, while I'll be picking up a Tight End from the Free Agency market, and won't really be losing much.

AND REGGIE BUSH FINALLY STEPPED IT UP. He barely got any yards, but 2 touchdowns and an injured Deuce means good things and more TD's for Reggie Bush :)

Yea when a trade gets accepted it takes 2 days because the other people in the league can vote against the trade. Then if the trade gets enough vetos it doesn't go through.
