Well...i was thinking about this one day, and I came across the idea that people main styles (turtle, Rush, Bomb, Anti, etc.) relate to their personality in real life, and in the game and/or forum....

What do you guys think?

no. i am good at basically every style and i use them all. i think its random which style is better. luck and just random mistakes make people think one wins more than the other.

I actually believe they do.

Outgoing or daredevilish people/people who aren't conservative are rushers.
Shy people who are conservative like to turtle.
Cool and collected people like to Anti-Rush.
Impatient law breakers bomb.

But this, of coarse, is how people start out. Later on they switch.

....And then there are the people who actually think about strategic formations.

I only rush in game. In real life, I am outgoing, yes. But, I certainly don't "rush" into things without thinking it through first.

So wait..

People who only freestyle are stupid..

People who only turtle are self-centered..

People who only grey are ugly..

Yep, I think that about sums it up.

Anyone who's worth being someone plays every style.

Yes, there is definitely a personality difference between, say, furgon-heavy turtle-lovers (yuck) and the great rushers (better). And greyers (love) are different than either.

Unless most turtlers are outgoing... then I would have to disagree with this.

Say I dabbed in a bit of this and a bit of that.. what would that say about my personality?

I do run a furgon turtle, but I also rush and play grey. :p

i dont think a persons personality decides what kind of form they use rather than how they play. I will use myself as an example. In real life i am almost obsessed with being "better" than someone else or having an advantage over them in a competition, sometimes a fair or unfair advantage depending on who i am dealing with. I realize when i create my forms that is what i focus on no matter what i am about to make (anti, rush, or turtle). My thought process goes "ok well if i put this here i can take the cleric by the third turn and if i put this over here i can get at least 1-2 range units in the process." Then once i am in a game i go all out trying to secure my advantage and once i do that i am happy and pull back and play defense. Also let me add i am one of those people that can either be loud and "the life of the party" but normaly i am content with sitting back and saying maybe 2 words and watching everyone else. I usually am boisterous when something needs to happen but if everything is going well that is when i sit back. This kinda in a way relates to my style play hard till what needs to happen happens then sit back and enjoy.

actually ... http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5896 ... then ... http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18795 (please note that i think fry was incorrect about the no dragon rush becoming popular. i beleive that that ga wisp cleric killer combo was what became popular after the old school anti, which if the s/s doesnt come up for you his version includes a lw, and then once the ga and wisp's stats were muffed the anti which we see today became the most popular fad)

There is a history for those who dont know.
