It's too awesome to not have a thread. Not just the new super kick ass movie, but even the 30 gigabytes of TV shows, and old movies I've recently pirated.
In honer to my current Transformers addiction relapse, I will be dedicating my next digital rendering to none other then... the Transformers. The only problem I am currently bent on is what and or who to illustrate? I was thinking about doing the new Optimus for nostalgic purposes but to be completely hoist when some one mentions Transformers the first thing that comes to mind is that big shinny transport truck. For this reason I feel I might create a clichéd artwork. This would not be good as I prefer to be original or slightly unique if at all possible. I'm also temped to start taking screen shots of the new movie, as that was among one of the many videos I downloaded.
Here a few options, though some of them may be out of my current illustration skills I'm still willing to dedicate at least several hours to this work (which isn't really too much when you see what is required).

Because this thread is not only to discuss my personal entrust in log lived Transformers I would like to point out that you're all totally free to discuss at will. I for one am almost in NEED to have a discussion about the new movie with an equily enthused transformers fan.
Going along with the discussion could be sharing,of photos and memory's of back in the day when all that mattered was how much longer it was until your next birthday or graduation, and ect. when you would receive another Transformers action figure for what was quickly becoming a collection.
I for one found something while looking for images to illustrate that invoked a frantic attic search: http://www.ncsx.com/2006/103006/Tuesday/mp4_convoy_01.jpg
yep, I have that one. and believe it or not I grew up with a guy who owned an original sound wave action figure...
So I'm sure many of you would love to have your very own Transformer, well by the looks of it they are getting ready to throw Bumble Bee out, so you better get on eBaY quick!
