Looking for a 2D artist - if thats not you no need to read on.
Well I know this is the incorrect area to post a msg. such as this, but I didn't see any other place, site requires Paypal transfers to submit a ticket... I'm looking for a artist that I'll be needing down the road (months, maybe years), I've got a team of fellas that are currently working on making a game in C++, a 2D multiplayer warfare game set in the 5th Century BC (yes, around the time of the 300 Spartans, correct.) The artist will be paid for worked turn out - including units, terrain (such as trees, with 2D animation \ wind blowing etc - simple sprites) bushes, effects, yadda yadda - you artists know the deal. Prices will be established once a sample has been submitted. I ask that samples atleast be turn in as .BMP, or .GIF.
1 simple sprite of a man is all that is needed for a sample, a width of 35 + height of 45 pixels would be ideal - with the person standing FACING the screen. Roman warrior if able, nothing in hand, again this is just for a sample - shouldn't take that long.
