2 chanty set?

i just won a chanty drop and i wanted to try a 2 chanty set but i cant seem to find one that works well. if anyone has a set they can show me it will be a great help thanks

Nice set, F_A. I can see a few spots where you could freeze any melee flankers. Have you tried it out yet?

There is one MAJOR problem, first turn I would LW your scout, you would have to retreat/Barrier/Heal. I would then rush on wall side. Move the scout somewhere else.

It'd be tough to run a multi-chanty set, especially here because of the two scout thing it's enarly impossible. Unless of course you are aiming for only playing other grays. Then it becomes more viable due to the lack of a mud. I'd recommend using any multi-chanty set with a fair deal of caution.

Since you didn't specify any other drops I'll make a form without any.

Here is something fairly basic. The frost represents a chanty. You might try moving units around to your style/preference.

I think that's a solid set that Forest Archer has. You should go with that, but personally I don't think that you need 2 chanties in a set. Dropless is usually the best way to go.

I'd say just play your normal game and attempt to go forward a bit and kill off some key units. When the enemy comes close with his key units, there are two KEY spots for your Chanties to move to and freeze. After freezing, Barrier.

The set works against opp sides, is OK against centers, sucks horribly against pyro rushes, and shines against same sides.

2 chanty sets suck. Plain and simple.

They have their merits: it's a powerful endgame tool, it's a good flank deterrent, and it's an autowin if you can eliminate their range. The drawback is a limited number of attackers.

2 chanty sets can work incredibly well. I find they are not good in opp sides. Same sides they destroy.

Move the scout in F_A's set it is in LW range which I BAD. Means you have to either heal scout, thus next turn a witch can burn it. Or you BW it which in turn means that when you move it has the 40%(front) 70%(side) range to hit to kill it. If you move it, a scout can still be killed with a 40% frontal or 70% side. Move it 1 space back.

Chanty = Defense.

If you can pressure their range into staying away, they won't dare try to flank you. If you're got 2 chantys, you can double freeze, and so even a scout won't save them in counter-flanking. I'd probably move the witch(es) out, barrier, and then pummel their range with my scout and knights. The witches are their mostly for threat, or for finishing off high blocking point units.

but a try out 4 this set was against a 1200+ (bad idea!)
