Any form of pre planned sit in on on Tactics Arena Online is prohibited. If any more threads are created, regardless of the target location, the creator will be banned. If any happen in-game and are determined to be pre-planned, or claimed as sit-in's, the users will be permanently banned/ deleted. This is your first and last warning.

I was completely against moderation of these sit-ins, thinking the community was mature enough to be able to moderate themselve. They have now become spam and it is now completely apparent that you are not mature enough to make your own decisions regarding this matter. Because of this, any pre-planned sit-in whatsoever, whether it is malicious or not, will be prohibited from this site.

Congratulations. I expected more.

Well congrats guys. You've finally turned me to the modsquad's side.

There's been at least 10 threads made about sitins in general discussion, and I'm sick of hearing it. All along I've said it was a stupid concept, but thought the mods would be better off ignoring your efforts than giving them legitamacy by kicking you in the lobby.

My point has always been that if the mods hadn't made a big deal out of it in the first place, you guys wouldn't still be carrying on. Based upon how much you guys are STILL carrying on, however, it looks like I was probably wrong. Any response but the modsquad would have you guys crying for months to come, I really have underestimated your stupidity.

You guys are no longer beating a dead horse. The horse died a week ago. The funeral was a lovely event, and it's corpse now rests in a lovely pasture where it used to graze. It's so dead that I can't even make a parody thread.

Edit: And to the modsquad, my apologies. It looks like regardless of your actions, this community would continue to act like clowns for as long as they weren't banned. Shameful.

I do agree that an over-reaction my mods leads to an over-reaction of idiots. But this is probably the funniest post I have ever seen a mod make. And I mean funny sad, not funny ha-ha./

That's a little lame, because firsting is harmless. Without a first post, you can't have a second. That'll be hard to enforce, because now all we can do is create threads.

However, I do like that the idiocy of sit-ins will stop. Thank you mod-squad.

The sit in was harmless too. A whole 10people MIGHT have showed up if Xerent hadn't had an embolism. Then it would have faded away, and no one would have ever remembered it happening.

Sit-ins were harmless. Like it or not though, they became harmful. Especially if one was organized well.

I completely agree. But what happened happened, and this is now the byproduct of it.

I do not control what other people create. I can, however, control the creations if I feel the need to.

A "Sit-In" is a peaceably, nonviolent gathering, often used to protest against some kind of oppression. The freedom of assembly is guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, but was criminalized in the TAO dictatorship by field marshal M.Eater and results in harsh penalties now for any participating members.
Additionally sit-ins are pretty 1980ish, now that they're almost a week old, and therefor cool people like dirka and iceman dissociate themselves now from their earlier encouragement.

But don't give up the fight!
Let's beat the dead horse with a new drama stick and start an official Piss-In in this thread, to show them what you think of their repression.

I mean, if they're just sitting there not playing a game, thats as bad as an organized gathering... only it's just a bunch of turds.

First, TAO is a Canadian game, not American.. even if it were, the administration and moderators are allowed to make any rules they see fit. If you don't agree, you are free to not play this game.

Second, Meat is not the one who flipped out and started kicking people from the game and banning people on forums.

Third, it started out as something fun, and quickly turned into disrespecting said mods. That is why people are dissociating themselves from it.

Fourth, I agree with the new sit in rule. I think the one about first posting is silly though.. just for the record. : )
