Goldify my grey please!!!

This is just the grey turt formation that i had the most success with and i want to somehow goldify it. can someone give me some advice what units to use??? thanks alot.

Gold and grey are two rather different games. Your best bet would be to scrap your entire formation and build a new one from scratch, using the foundations of the grey game, with the complex variety of units in the gold game.

But if you want a set that resembles the one you have right there, a simple, easy-to-learn Gold power corner (/anti rush :rolleyes: remember when sane people called this a corner rush?) can be found below... :)

Here's a common Gold Formation, but it's a very experienced one and is great to get used to playing with. Try it out.

This was a slight return of my first gold free form, created in May 2005.

I'm not going to get big and say I'm this set's originator, but I was definitely one of the set's earliest users.

When I created that form I originally had the mud one space further forward, to keep the LOS shot to my Cleric blocked if I should move the Scout, and the Mud could get behind the enemy's front line in a single move. Some moved it one space back to its position as I showed it, since it blocks another LOS shot to the Cleric in that position (the diagonal shot); others moved it to the back row next to the Cleric to block some Wisp attacks to the Cleric, as well as any melee attackers from hitting the Cleric (note: this was back when Wisp/GA/Mud often encroached on the Cleric for lethal combinations).

I honestly like the first position better, but who's complaining?

hey we did get it from the same place then i have muddie 1 spot up and i used it in 05 i didnt like it then cause i turt or rushed then never antied but now anti's r in so i tryed using it and it worked so i just use it

Lol my anti which got me to 1600 on 2 servers is kind of like Steve's. Yet far knight is front row, scout behind it. Mostly so I can normally kill a same side's anti cleric within 4-5 turns.

Mi$ta, i recommend using steve's setup. I use almost the exact same one except i replace the knight beside the dragon with a LW. I find it helps defend against dsm rushes. :)

How about this setup? It is for ultimate power, but it really only for the best players... so you gotta be good to use it! (When I had a gold account, I got my stats from 900 to 1300 with this setup in about 3 days--it's good.)

Basically, this nis for having all of the powerful guys heavy-armored for maximum long-lasting power. You can swap one of the knights with the right scout if you want, but an armored knight will last longer. It depends whether you like ranged attacks or raw power (SUGGESTION: you might like to armor both scouts, dragon and just one knight for long-lasting scouts ;)
