I know, theres been another king mentioned, I read that thread too, anyways

Name: King

hp - 50

blocking - 100% (50% on sides and 20% on back)

armor - 30 (royal armor thats tough and light)

movement - 3

range - 1

recovery - 1

power - 28 (blockable and reducable)


Special ability/attribute - Experience/Skill

King has fought in many wars throughout all his life and with all his experience on the battle field, killing countless foes, he has mastered the way of the sword so whenever he strikes, whatever his foes blocking ability is, it is reduced by 20% because of his skill with the sword. His awesome skill and experience on the battle field has given him a slight 6th sense of an opponent attacking thus giving him the ability to block attack from the back at 20% blocking

basically:

1. Whenever he is used to attacking unit x, unit x will have 20% less blocking, only when unit x is attacked by King

2. He has 20% blocking from the his behind (ownage!)

Appearance- ... Majestic

What you guys think, awesome huh? But I was thinking he'd take be worth 3 units, again I repeat, 3 units

Okay, so it's late, I'm bored but hey been thinking about this unit for some time, I think its alright but maybe you guys can catcht some flaws?

Advice, opinions, thoughts...

P.S. how in the world are we ever gonna get our units in the game, I mean we make so many, have any of you guys got your units into the game, least one?

P.S.S. - I made another unit, called Spear Man, now that unit I know is almost perfect for the game. All I'm missing is deciding whether it should have a special ability, also need a better description and maybe changing the name, check it out, its awesome but make sure to read post #15, thats basically the protype of the unit. Making a unit ridiculously overpowered, and then making it worth more than one unit, does not a balanced unit make. :nono:

I'm almost sure that most Kings don't fight with their armies if they were borne into royalty which most Kings are. Good try though.

Yea uh you need to lower the front block to like 60%, get rid of back blocking and possibly lower its hp a bit I'd say

You know i actualy like this concept of a King. (balanced in a sense he is worth 3 units) but i would like to see you drop his stats to a more mortal level.
so he could count as 1 unit....but it is your unit and i like it as it is.

But 100% frontal blocking is rediculous paired with 30% armor and 28 power (even if it is blockable)

Heck if you dropped power to 20 he would still be a beeeefy foe to deal with!

1) i like the heightened senses ( for attacking)
2) love the 6th sense awareness for back blocking.


i disslike the overpoweredness of this unit.
He is a KING not a GOD!... (even if he counts as 3)

You never balance a unit just by making it take up more unit slots.

he is way 2 over powered and its basicly a knight and nothing can block from the back
i would make its attack power 18 armor 10 hp 60

Just wanted to apologize for not replying to all of your comments, I'm a college student and really don't have much time to do these forums in time. I must choose only a few and I think I shall choose this one to be the few choosen, yups. I completely understand why some of you thought it was overpowered. Please keep in mind that I half made this unit for my entertainment and half to be considered for TAO and that I was very sleepy lol. I will make some changes but not at the moment, I think tomorrow or the next day. Really I just wanted to apologize for not replying all this time, it was rude of me and I'd also like to thank you for commenting, all comments were either encouraging or contructive and I will definitely make changes to my unit because of them and because of some strat. reasons I've thought of that would make him that much more over-powered. Yeah so, it was very nice to see so many people giving me a helping hand and just for that I will comment everyone who commented me on this thread and try to give the most constructive response I can. Thanks for reading.

His mastered the way of the sword thus whenever he attacks, his oppenent is as if he had 10% less blocking.



Also, when you have him on field you can only get 2 knights, not 3 and only 1 King rules 1 set.

Now his worth 2 units, I heard someone said I should lower him to 1, dude comon and make him all wimpy lol

What you guys/gals think now?

Its still way overpowered. I like the 2 knight idea though, that definently made him a little less godly.

Additional information:

- King is a basically a knight unit on steriods so you may either get 3 knights or 1 King and 2 knights

- Only 1 King rules 1 set

- He is worth two units

- And he also won't move aside for friendly units cause who are they, his the king, units will step aside only for him (this is the new change)



NOW WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? I think his done, a new playing piece for the game, a work of art lol :p No really I think his balanced now lol

If you don't think so, please explain why
