Gold Stats Reset

I understand that a new stats system is in place but man, all of the gold account stat were reset too!!! A lot of us put a lot of hard work into the records we had and now its all gone. How come we weren't told that reset would affect us. Is this gonna happen again, or is this the last time that we will lose our stats. Also, I think that wins and losses should still be shown when stats are looked up. Thanks for your time.

I am sure there was no way to historically determine the records and therefore hypothetical rank of your opponents in order to carry over records into the new rank system.

I tried to stat people most of the time to fight better players.
I just have to figure that previous experience will carry me forth into the new ranking system and keep me upwardly mobile once again.
