Interesting though. No scouts or dragon. You've substituted you're longest range attackers for a GA that by itself is weak because its your only ranged attacker and its a long 3 wait. Of course you're setup is built for defense, but scouts are essential for breaking focus, killing clerics and retreating. You made this setup so you probably know how to use it ;)

Making a good turtle for beginners:

Staple units:
Cleric
Stonie (if that's the kind of turtle you're making)
Two scouts

And, if you want ANY form of defensive power, throw in a Frosty, and if you want ANY form of offensive power, throw in a muddy.

The rest is up to you. Pick your favorite units, pick the units that work the best, and experiment. Stats do not matter in getting good at turtling. Keep trying different forms and spend a lot of time and brainpower figuring out what flaws your form has and how to fix them. That's how I've come up with some of my more creative turtles.

In terms of positioning, generally people put the Cleric in the backrow corner, with the Stone Golem to its side and 4 units right in front of it. You need not do it, but I'm letting you know it's the most common.

i've seen a few bad turts. and i hope u dont make a bad no stonie all attack turt like the 1 im playing against. im not a good turtler so i havent got a good set to give u.but if your really lucky the turtle fairy will give u a good turt :)
