Formation Database

So I came into this section looking for a link to Syphon's database of forms, since I was interested in seeing how it had progressed since he first introduced it.


But, low and behold, in the strategy section itself...I find no reference. Time to fix that.

This database allows you search by FPS/Legends Gold/Grey, and even by keywords or unit composition in the advanced search.

Users viewing your setup can rate it and give comments.

When you submit a setup, you get to classify it, set keywords for people searching for it, define the unit composition, and add some description for the basic usage and tactics behind the setup.


Overall, it's a great piece of work, and easy to use/navigate.
Only gripe, at this time while it is possible to assign your name to the setup's you submit, you can't search the database by user (i.e. you can't search "Megabyte" and see all the setups I've submitted).

yes, I'm aware of the original thread, it's where I got the link from, but it's in the GD section and not even mentioned anywhere where it should be...here.


Some mod should make a sticky linking it, or some such.

I agree, I couldn't find it when I was looking for it. Until, I think I found a link to it in some one's sig.

I think all the new people (including myself) would appreciate a sticky for all of the strategy related links, including this one.

1. I have implemented a sort by user function
2. You can sort formations by views now (they all just started count, so prepare to see some zeros)

Anyway, since both Vintage and Du seemed to all but forget the formation database, I'm left to keep it cleaned up [sorry for anyone who has used it recently finding the forms smothered by a dozen of "Untitleds"-- blasted bots.
