They are decent to say the most.... There are just many better sets, niether set has a great strong point nor the defense that a turtle with those units need.

The first is, meh ok. Would be all right in a same side.
2nd one just sucks.

Both of them are fine, and there aren't any "better" sets regardless of what some kids like to think. Each set works to the benefits and style of it's creator, say I, and I've been beaten by things that looked ridiculous while stomped someone with an "unbeatable" setup. Each to their own, and all that.

My only suggestions, switch the muddy with the middle scout on the first setup (maybe move the knight too), and just move the muddy to a new spot in the second (possibly place the scout in the forward position there). Muddy = 0 block and defense, so don't generally place him right at the forefront, especially with a group of units right behind him. That's just begging for a caster/wisp/mud quake attack.
