My folks still use AOL.. let the mourning begin... :(




I was over at their place yesterday trying to get into TAO.. Now I could log into Great Lakes no problem.. But when I tried to log into Banff and Army it just sat there forever..

What kind of conflict is there? I know they weren't full by any means.. but I just couldn't log in. Is that on my end and what can I do if so? I could ping all three servers at uvault...

I reinstalled Flash 7.. I upgraded the Explorer version, I cleared all saved Internet files. I even deleted the folder that you place on the computer to allow us access and it came back after I accessed GL.. So any suggestions Aside from ditch AOL...

I will be housesitting and I wanna play DAMNIT.. :D

All servers are up and running with player in them, not sure why your connection is not working.

Bills I realize all the severs are up.. I can get into GL no problem.. but banff and Army just sit there and sit there.. I have no explantion... Just thought i would point out that for some reason I cannot connect to those two with my current settings..

Didn't know if maybe there is something else that could effect what time of browser is required or something....

I have this same thing happening to me this morning.
It sits on the 'please wait...' msg forever.
Incidently, my Gold subscription renewed last night, there any connection?

Nah happened here too sham0n. Everyone is on GL join us.

Over the weekend I upgraded their computer to AOL 9.0 and now I can go everywhere... If I used AOL 5.0 to log on to the internet it still prevented me a connection to Banff or Army.. But I could get into GL like butter... Logged off logged in through 9.0 and presto back into banff again and no problems... The server wasn't even remotely conjusted during this time.
