Clan ranking

I think that you should be able too see which clan is the best, by averaging out (for all you non mathies that means add up and divide by the amount of numbers you added) members in a clan's points,

the command would be "/clanstat CLAN NAME"

This would be good to see whos # 1 in clans, and suff

couple of problems with that, first being clan size. Lots of one person clans out there, and several with a very large amount, and many with just the sole creator.

I'd think any clan ranking system would have to be a bit more complex than a simple averaging system.

megabyte... this is why he said average... all the problems u listed with the exception of the 1 person clans r not really problems when averaged, and the one person clans usually dont last long anyway

as bobo pointed out, there is a nack of restating someone's words (while agreeing with them) and seeming to insult them here.

I don't think a clan ranking system is a bad idea, I just don't know if such a simple means of calcualting it would be a good way to show it if yout goal is to see which clan is best (as u originally said). Players who like to farm points from noobs, inactive players, etc etc. There are many things that can make a system like that a less than accurate setup for a clank ranking.

Maybe a seperate rank setup specifically meant for clan members to fight against other clan members. Like a floor where the fights would count for clan rankings. I'm not trashing your idea, just the means of implementation.

anyway yeah i know exactly what ur saying, I really dont think that the floor plan would work out, anyways yeah people do farm in newbies, and always will, ,

the floor dea is a bad idea, but the clan fight isnt one, maybe clans could be rated EXACTLY like people, each clan starts out with a 750 avrage and when people fight other clans, the loosing clans rating goes down and the winners goes up, the amount you gain depends on the clans status,

better or worse?

i think better, if anyone had even more bettererer ideas post em us all want not not yes to not no see!(dense sentence)

i like the idea of clans havig the same ranking system as ppl in general, though that also opens the door for more cheating by multiple accounts... but the game will always be subject to this


megabyte i assume u mean farming points as in newb slaying? yeah that could be problamatic but no more so than the current ranking system has a prob with it


hmmm... and i dont totally disagree with the floor idea, or maybe an option at the beginning of a battle wether or not the ppl want the fight to count torwards their clan score?

perhaps an eventual making that only golds can be members of clans? or that they're the only ones who count for clan rankings (since greys do get wiped). ppl could still make multiple accounts, but it'd be a bit discouraged if u had to pay $5 for each new one to count.
