Sig Sweeps!

Due to some giant signatures lately, I'm going to start doing sig sweeps again. Remember, folks, the reason we have these implemented is because some people have slower computers... and because it's just annoying to scroll through more signature than actual forum text.

Please see our Signature Size Guidelines (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12966) and adjust accordingly on your own. If I do send you a PM telling you to adjust your signature size, please do it in the next few days. If I have to remove any signatures on my own, after warning, that user will also lose the privilege of having a signature for an indefinite time.

The easy rule is about the width of your palm (hotdog, not hamburger!). This is the quick way I'll be checking. For those of you with different sized monitors than me (mine's about standard)--thats about the height of my current signature.

If you see a signature you think is too be, please feel free to report the user to me via PM. Lets try not to make this into to big of a deal by being total sticklers about it, but as theburning said, just use your common sense.

A) Keep it to one banner

B) 600 width x 140 height maximum (keep it friendly for our low-res members)

C) Nothing Obscene or vulgar. Keep it PG-13.

D) No more than 1 or 2 lines in addition to your banner (you cannot change the font size). Quote = 2 lines. Standard size userbar = 1 line.

E) If your banner is smaller than the maximum size, you can add additional lines of text - but it still cannot exceed the maximum size of 600 width x 140 height + 2 lines of regular text.
Snowolf, you have a normal sized banner, plus the two lines of text, plus a huge quote. I would say you have to lose the quote box, maybe add it in as text like the others and you'll be fine?

Both of your signatures are too big. Not as drastic as shurtugal's, heh, but I still am going to ask you to cut them down, please.

Width doesnt matter at all. You can fill out the space as much as you want as long as it doesnt extend the entire page from it's default width. Height-wise, try to match it a under or only a little above the height of my current signature.

Specifically: Snowolf--if you got rid of the quote or the equivalent of it, you'd be fine. SS--if you got rid of the userbar/text screenshot or the equivalent, you'd be fine. You're both about 2 lines too many.

Meat specificaaly said that if he see's anybody's signature too large then he will PM them and ask them to make it smaller. I'm sure he'll be checking the "rate your signature" thread regularly for larger than normal siggy's. It's not your place to tell someone to follow the rules. You do realize that as a gold account you can uplaod any avatar you want, while he is limited to the stock ones.

Simply make, or have made, or find elsewhere, a new avatar for yourself that he can not use.
