(C=Cerberus, /= Empty Space, A= Cerberus' attack area)

*Cerberus attacks ALL three spaces in front of it, or one of the spces beside it.

Recoil: if Cerberus is attacked from behind, the snake will whip forward after the attack and hit the attacking unit. Recoil is not used on ranged units unless they are directly behind. Recoil has half the power of Cerberus' normal attack, is blockable, and, if hit successfully, will poison that unit without needing to focus. Recoil can only poison a single unit at a time. Poison can be healed by cleric. Poison cannot kill a unit.

Appearance: Giant black dog with three heads, all three have collars which you choose the color of. Cerberus' tail is a snake, which color is also your choice. To attack from in front the heads will bite all units in those three spaces. To attack from the side one of the sides, the correspnding head will turn and bite the unit in the space. It all depends on which way Cerberus is facing and if you want to mave and suffer having to wait both turns to recover or just one for only attacking. To block, all three heads will move up out of the way.

This is the first unit I have created, so I will take all comments to heart and try to tweak it as best possible. Oh and people, CONSTRUCTIVE critisism, please!

Well. Due to its low blocking percentage the whole effect is rendered useless by attacing it from the side. It's a tad underpowered, but nice try.

Good point, shoulda considered it from a side view, not just behind, il change it

I thought it was pretty fairly balanced, except for the blocking percentages, i cant seem to get it fair for front-side ratio, any tips?

the appearance is alright that could stay..and the moves..
and the owners of the game could make the rest up

try the Dark magic witch as an example. The dark magic Witch Shoots 4 spaces out for 24 damage. you could also think of the Knight which has 25% armor and 80% blocking. Drop the blocking to say 30%, the HP to 30, the damage to 20 with recoil at 10, the armor can remain 0, and it would be more reasonably balanced.

Yes but, (and i don't mean to get all defensive here) if the blocking is lowered to 30% from the front, the recoil would be useless, recoil is meant to give him a better chance of survivng I will lower the power of the attack, and the health a little though

Seems much more balanced to me. Balance isn't easy. The balance of the Poison Wisp was affected by the difference of 2 in HP.
