Alright, most of you players know how the frost works, but this could be a nice step. If the person you are playing kills all of the range units the frost is able to do a special move. The move would resemble a blizzard. I can and will freeze anything within 5 spaces in each direct. This would look like the pattern the frost normally has, but expanded one more space. The wait turns after the special is used with be 3 or 4 turns and this can be used until the game is over.

I'm lazy right now and it is 6am, I will fix this up later, but this is the general idea.

Special moves are for underpowered units.

Not for awesome and well balanced units.

I do not really like the idea.

Yeah the frost can dominate and the special activated when you take out ranged units? Overpowered. This move turns games around too easily.

I like it. Because your doomed without range units and he has range units.

It's not bad. It's just then it becomes like a chanty pretty much.

Look at it as a chanty type of frost. I mean, if you lose your range and he only has one or two left, you could do some damage. It can change the game into your favor, but it will have to wait 3/4 turns do to it again unless stationary which is 2.

i would actually vouch for that idea, its not bad. i mean frost isnt my favorite unit but its not a bad unit.

Due to a Frost Golem's very limited movement, no one moves it out of their own territory unless there is an extremely good reason to do so. This ability would pretty much have no use as in most cases, it would do more harm than good. Even if you decided to move it toward your opponent's units for this ability alone, your Frost Golem would basically become a walking bull's eye. Not only that, but this looks like something that would have to wait until the end game where the Frost Golem really begins to shine. The Frost Golem is an excellent unit as is and just about everyone who has one uses it.

It needs some work but could be a cool special ability. But i agree with the others Special ablitles are for underpowered units.

the furg and assassin were not underpowered.

the furg and assassin were not underpowered.

No one uses assassin, but yeah, I never understood the furg.

Exactly my point, no-one besides greys use the assassin anymore and the furg move actually screwed you more than it helped you.

well, no one using assassin was a sign that it's underpowered...

But I do agree with furgon, I couldn't figure out why it was added.

It's not exactly like the Furgon's special move is that good though.. it wasn't much of an upgrade.

The assassin got an upgrade, but people didn't use it so much before.

The frost, one of the best units in the game, does not need an upgrade.
