One Day Tournament 19/04/08

Hey, I've been planning to run a One Day Free Tournament. It consists of one rule, and it's pretty basic. YOU HAVE TO ATTEND THE DAY THAT IT WILL BE RAN.

The motive of this tourney is to get on AS MANY PEOPLE POSSIBLE with the intention of getting a tourney going. I just spoke to Meat, and he said he liked the idea, yet he thought no one would come. According to Meat, if a lot of folks attend this tourney it could be TAL approved, and having a huge pot for the winner, and finalist. If we can get more than 32 people to join, and be there in the due date it's likely that this will work out for those interested in TAL points. If you cannot come the day in which the tournament is ran, don't even bother signing up, it would save us time. The tournament will consist of free games, single elimination.

Tourney starts on Saturday 19 at 7:00 PM; GMT 0, and sign ups start from today.

Remember, if you can't play in the tournament on the due date, don't even bother signing up. And if you sign up, and can't play, please have the courtesy of posting that you will not attend.

You see Eagle, loads of people prefer One Day Tournaments because they are somewhat easier to handle. When I spoke to Meat, he told me that a while ago, tournaments were done with anticipation, and it would a lot of folks, so the prize would be "epic". Most people that are signing up must be sure that they don't have anything to do at the time where the tournament starts. On my initial post I tried to put a time where it's pretty good for nearly ANYONE.

Yes, I have realized that. I have noticed loads of stuff. First of all, most people don't sign up because they don't know what they'll do that day. But, I think that you might be right. I might make a new thread at 4 PM central time with sign ups, in those sign-ups the folks that are already in the list will be counted in without having to post again on the new thread. :)

I just remembered there will be a big ballin' ass party this Saturday. I'm not sure when I will leave to hang out with friends before going to the party and this tourney starts at 6pm (I live in Central too). =/

So there is probably a high possibility that I won't be able to participate in this tourney. :(

I made a mistake with the timing Shinok. When I meant central time, I was wrong. Central time is in the US, not where I thought it was. Central Time in my opinion was GMT 0, therefore forgive me. The point is that the tournament starts at 6 PM (GMT 0), not at 6 PM (GMT -5).

Sorry for not posting this earlier, I had been sick since Monday, I wasn't in the feeling on getting into TAO too much. I'm feeling a lot better right now.

The time this game holds is GMT -5, your time is GMT -4. What does that mean? It means that if the tournament starts at 7 PM (GMT 0), it will be 3 PM. Esta bien o no? :)

lieu just to let you know my dedication to come play for ya. I was passed out after drinking a bottle of parrot bay and smoking 2 joints and 2 blunts of crypy at the pool with a buddy chillin with some chicks. I was assed out in a lawn chair when suddenly I woke up and was like I have a tournament. I ran home and nearly threw up when i got there from being in such a daze. I popped on to pwn. Then i continued my day. If i didnt get that nap in though i wouldnt of made it to meet these hot stoner chicks and this cool kid later that night. All in all was fun ^_^

no it was the biggest bottle you can get i think... the biggest one you can get from the store lol. I also smoked 2 joints and 2 rellos of some dank bud. Me and my buddy justin passed out about 20 min after finishing the bottle and the last blunt for about 3 hours at the pool in some lawn chairs. It was awesome people where laughing i could here them in my sleep. We woke up and noone was there except the 2 girls and this kid i met. I think they where watching out for us. When i woke up i was like shit ill be back i have a tournament lmao. The girls kinda digged my randomness. I let my buddy handle them while i was playing.
