Great Lakes: [Slayer's Guild] Recruitments

Recruitments for the [Slayer's Guild], in the Great Lakes Server. This is a ''Gold Only'' clan, and we are recruiting. If you are getting gold in a couple of weeks, we will recruit you but if you just say that to get in the clan I WILL expel you from the clan.

I been debating whether or not to make this story more widely known, but i'm feeling a little randy this morning, so why not.

The first clan ever formed on the Legends server was called Noob Slayers. NS contained alot of skilled players (player's such as QuickSandSlowly and theRapizt) and in general was one of the most respected of clans. When clan functionality was added to the game Noob Slayers changed their name to "the Slayer's Guild."

Now some of you might have noticed we have a slayer's guild here on GL as well. My first thought was that it was a branch of the Legends clan, and i asked the leader Dark Angel as much. He asked if i had every heard of theRapizt, and after i said that i had heard of him, he told me that that was who he was, and that's why he was using the same name as his Legends guild.

Turns out however, after i asked around a bit on the Legends board, that not only doesn't theRapizt play on GL, but no one over there has even heard of this guy Dark Angel or his branch of their guild. Turns out the guy is just some wannabe that stole the name. :D

Edit: here's the thread where the guy gets exposed , after theRapizt's post it just turns into a bunch of GL bashing and pokes at the swear filter, so nothing much to see after that

Your not gonna get away with that little sorry crap. So not cool, slayers guild (amongst those of us who have been around) is a well known and respected guild. And you are attempting to steal their thunder. The only way your going to get to do so is if you go to them and let them know, and if they have no prob then you can use it. Until then you blow, and no one join this clan in fear of having no respect whatsoever.

And in case your wondering why I say all this, becuse I have met and talked to a couple of said clan memebers and they were cool guys, and crap like this shouldn't go down.

yo leave that poor guy alone! U guys don't know anything about y he stole the slayers guild's name. Do u think he actually stole the name because he wanted 2 pretend that he's the rapizt so that everyone joins him? Well he didn't! He stole the name because the rapizt WAS the best player of legends server (meaning he stole it 2 honor him; there's an old sying: copying is the strongest way of showing admiration 4 someone) and because it's a cool name (which was the main idea of y he stole that name). If anyone's got a problem with that we (as in me and dark angel) can go say we're sorry 2 the rapizt and ask him if he's okay with dark angel keeping that clan name. If anyone's being uncool here it's u guys 4 bringing down that poor guy 4 a stupid and almost unexisting "problem". By the way, 4 those who didn't already know it, i'm dark angel's bro so stay out of my bro's way!!!!! U got that?!(F****** brats).

I have a little sister (well she's not that little anymore) so i can appreciate your having to stand up for your brother (presumably your little brother).

However, I disagree completely with your "done to honor them" shtick. Personally i found it to be entirely unoriginal and disrespectful to an established clan. The purpose of my post was to let anyone that was considering joining this clan to know what baggage the name came with. That way they would be able to decide for themselves whether or not that is an honorable act and whether or not they want to be part of this clan. This is something new members have a right to know.

You're right but most in Dark Angel's are new golds and don't know anything about the legends server, in other words don't know about TheRapizt's legendary clan.

I am also a older sibling, and can have a lot of understanding for you standing up for him. However I agree with Jack on that doing it to honor them is total BS and just an excuse made up.

And now I will say this to you, I am no little punk, or brat and I stay out of no ones way. I will say what I feel like it and will accept no one telling me otherwise. You call me a brat, ha I laugh at your poor excuse for an insult. With spelling and grammer that attrociuos, more accuratly you are the brat. If you have anything more to say, consider this, I am more than happy to pound the hell out of you for opening your mouth so rudely to me. Your his older brother, than be one and teach him plagerism and trying to steal someones hard earned respect and honour is wrong.

While your at it teach him some responsability in representing his friends and server along with co-players.

Once again, I have respect for you defending your brother, however he was wrong, and you decided to get rude, I will not accept that from someone I have never heard of or who has earned 0 respect.

Okay, u 2 make a much better point tha I do (especially Rescorlian)... The "honor" part was exagerated quite a bit. I was a bit furious when I saw that message Londonjack wrote and I wrote a rather rude and insulting message. For that, I guess I feel sorry and almost stupid. U r both right, my brother stole the nameof a hard working clan which could be considered rather insulting for some people. I will therefore apologize to TheRapizt for my brother's wrong doing. I have to say though i didn't entirely understand the entirety of ur message, Rescorlian. I mean my message didn't have any spelling or grammar error (at least I don't think so) and it's not like I told u to stay out of my way (i said to stay out of his way). Anyways my point is, just because someone stole the name of a most famous clan doesn't mean u have to get mad at that person... Again I apologize for being so rude.

Man, this is just like the bull we have to put up on Legends. There are a multitude of clans with Slayer in their name, all because of us. There's the "Slayer Trappers", the "Elite Slayers", "Dragon Slayers" and many other n00bish clans. We serve beat downs to all their members. This is just pitiful. Come up with something original and you might get our respect. Apologies are good, but they don't erase the fact that you're trying to use our name and fame for your own benifit.

It's funny because none of those people can even hang with us. Hell, most of em can't even kill one of our units.
