Just wondering what everyones plans are for 4/20 this year?
Last year I had quite a time, it was my first 4/20. This year, I plan it to be even better.
Getting a hotel room with a few people(2 others..possibly 4). Sooo yeaah...
What's everyone gonna be up to on my favorite holiday of the year?

I won $125 dollars between me and one friend. In addition to already stockpiled money, I can safely say that we are going to acquire at least a half ounce of Jack Herrera. If you haven't heard of it, its supposedly a combination between northern lights and something else (my sources could be incorrect though). It's stronger than pretty much all haze I've smoked (and I live in home of the haze), and probably on par with Sour Diesel.

I have 2 plans though.

#1 is to smoke with everyone I know who smokes who is available / not too far away.

#2 is to intake weed in as many ways possible. Blunt, joint, spliff, bong, bowl, brownies, and however many other ways happen to be within my power.

Smoking a variety of different strands is also not something I'm against.

Jack Herrera is very good. It's not a mix of anything though, it's just a very good haze. It was around here for a little while, i'm sure it wasn't the real stuff. But i've had the real stuff.

I'm starting at midnight 4/19 and ending at midnight 4/20 (I might not stop if I still have bud though..). I told my mom not to attempt to contact me all day because I plan on being blasted.

I plan on starting on 4/19 as well, at midnight. I just smoked for the first time in about 4 months a few days ago, I was saving myself for 4/20 but it didn't quite work out... Anyways, yeah, no smoking for 4 months, so you can imagine what my tolerance is like.
I don't know much about the names of weed, or even how to indentify them other than different colored hairs usually means good shit.... But supposedly my friend knows a guy who can get us a dub of purple drow. So yeah, I will probably get that, but its gonna be $50 and I don't plan on paying for all of it.
Gonna be a good day no matter what though, because I'm gonna start stealing from my mom about a week in advance, and she usually has a lot better weed than the normal stuff around town.

Yeah one of the best things about the place I work is they only do drug tests if they think you are high/drunk or w/e at work. And I know what you mean about liking being sober, I think I know exactly how you feel.... I plan on only smoking once or twice a week, rather than every day which I've done for stretches at a time...
Mainly because I can't stand driving even when I'm a little high... Its not that I can't drive, I do just fine, its just that I don't like having to do something lol... I like to just sit, or walk around outside.

If you ask me, I'd say that if you frown upon others that do it, and it seems morally wrong don't even bother. But on the other hand, if you don't really care, and everything is worth trying once, definitely go for it.
I could do with or without in all honesty, but it basically comes down to being a fun pastime, that is worth the money in my opinion.
Its really not as great as a lot of pot heads hype it up to be..... (coming from a guy who smokes in moderation)

We're starting to get more younger clientele. Most of which are high school drop outs. Have a few felonies against them. Nothing too serious, but given their ages, 17-25, things aren't looking good.

Opiate addiction is the big thing for the youth age range, everyones getting hooked on pills. Out in the mid-west near Texas, especially in the Hispanic demographic, black tar heroin is killing kids left and right.

Even working in the field, I'd like to eventually see marijuana legalized. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's bad, but so can be alcohol and pain pills.

Whereas you'd be getting probably 1 gram (maybe a little more since hes already screwing you) for 50 bucks.

It definitely sounds to me like you're getting ripped off. It might not matter to you if you don't really smoke, as your tolerance will be insanely low and Dro would probably get you blasted anyway. But you're paying 2.5 times of what you should be for the amount you're getting.

Where do you live? That might have an impact on it. In a lot of places weed isn't as common and might be more expensive, but I doubt its that much of a difference. Another couple tips: 50 sacks are usually what dealers skimp on because its hard to eyeball when they're giving it to you. Always get dubs and dimes (only more if you really trust the guy). Also when people say they're selling you purple something, it probably is just the normal version of that. I've been told I was smoking purple haze multiple times when I was newer to smoking, but it definitely wasn't, it was just normal haze.

Hm, well thanks for the advice. I was always under the impression that nicks, dimes, dubs and all that went by how much they weigh/how much weed you got. And I'm pretty sure thats how all my friends that smoke see/saw it too... I definitely won't be paying $50 now... Hell if it comes down to it, I will just steal my mom's shit. Her boyfriend sells, and his shit is always frosted, extremely sticky, and covered with a ton orange hairs. Its good stuff, at least for a person with my kind of tolerance.

If I remember correctly, I read in High Times that 4-20 originally came from 4:20PM, which is when a group of students at University of California Berkeley campus met up every day after class to smoke weed. They used 420 like a code, like "hey man that was a good 420 man I can't wait until tomorrow," and it caught on so now it's a pothead's holiday and favorite time of the day to smoke.

When I smoked, I bought quarters here in Flint for $25, thats double what you're getting, and the quarters were usually fat, and it was good weed. One thing I like about Flint, I can get really good prices. $1200 for a pound of northern lights, and that's actually kind of expensive compared to what I usually get. I can actually get a pound of some decent dro for $900.

Sadly though, I won't be celebrating this year. :(

White Widow except it has black specs in it sometimes called train wreck, Shiba, White Rhino, Marsh mellows, lol idono it goes on but thats my fav bud. I got some they called rabbits foot. It was dense white sticky buds that looked like candy. It kept breaking up/expanding. The bud was originally as big as my finger but after pulling it apart I could fit it in both my hands. Okay:

A dub costs $20 regardless of type of weed. You'll get more when its shitty, and less when its really good. A dub should weigh 1 gram when it's pretty good stuff.

You said the guy wants to sell you a dub of purple dro for $50? Dro isn't killer weed, it's middling to decent. Purple dro might be pretty strong but it's not gonna be any better than Haze or Sour D, which a dub of costs $20 (hell I get those really fat, usually like 1.2 grams per dub). Whereas you'd be getting probably 1 gram (maybe a little more since hes already screwing you) for 50 bucks.

It definitely sounds to me like you're getting ripped off. It might not matter to you if you don't really smoke, as your tolerance will be insanely low and Dro would probably get you blasted anyway. But you're paying 2.5 times of what you should be for the amount you're getting.

Where do you live? That might have an impact on it. In a lot of places weed isn't as common and might be more expensive, but I doubt its that much of a difference. Another couple tips: 50 sacks are usually what dealers skimp on because its hard to eyeball when they're giving it to you. Always get dubs and dimes (only more if you really trust the guy). Also when people say they're selling you purple something, it probably is just the normal version of that. I've been told I was smoking purple haze multiple times when I was newer to smoking, but it definitely wasn't, it was just normal haze.

my celebration of 420 and my 21st has come to a end now. I am to tired from celebrating last night and going straight from our last bottle and few hits on the lung to work at 5am to 10pm.
