I'm most likely going to be buying an 8GB 2nd gen Zune this weekend. The only thread I found after a simple search was a small help thread by EmeraldGreenLeafer, so it seemed like a good idea to create a discussion thread for it, in case there is anyone out there that actually has one.

But yeah. I'm getting the 8GB with one of those armbands. I've always wanted to get a classic 60GB ipod so I could just store buttloads of music, but those use hard drives that aren't durable, the way that the flash player ones are.

So. People that have one. Good websites that you may have used for getting videos onto there? Excaliber posted a couple links in Emel's thread but I've yet to check them out (here (http://www.imtoo.com/), here (http://www.hackzone.us/), here (www.zunescene.com), and here (http://internetisseriousbusiness.com/)). Also any significant likes or dislikes with the product, or any accessories you've bought that you can reccomend?

Also interested in any opinions on how easy the software is to use, and how easy it is to get music from file-sharing programs onto a zune.

I prefer the Zune 8GB to a nano 8GB because of the shape, and for the armband reviews. Zune comes with a built-in FM radio, which I'd like to have without paying for another accessory. If I were looking for more storage space, I'd get an ipod, but I just don't want a nano.

Zune 2 is great, but personally to me the ipod touch is better. Closely followed by the PSP.

PSP FTW! I wouldn't mind trying the Zune because everyone that I know has some kind of iPod and it would be cool to change it up a bit

My friend has a zune, and hes a pretty big fan. However, you pretty much have to use limeware to use it.

...I've actually considered a Zen as well, shatter. The flash player deal is pretty much my biggest priority, and aside from it being... horizontal, it looks pretty good.
