My idea for a new unit is sometyhing along the lines of a golem with range like a GA, But less power .. maybe 18... and a little less HP around 40.. And only takes one turn to recover.

Hit me up tell me what you think.

well, Since your new I'll have pitty on you and won't flame ya ;). Here's my take on your idea.

1)No stats, no pix, no nothing, just ideas. If you want your unit to be glorified (like the pimp muddy) then you need that.

2)Not origional, it's the same thing as the ga, but your trading hp and power for waiting. Not only would this defeat the purpose of the quick cleric kill, but it's not worth it at all because you don't really need to use it that much.

This is a good first thought, when doing your first units it's always a good idea to base your units off current units so that it's balanced, then lower the stats by about 10% and add a really cool special or just trade the current special for an equally good special. Your final product could look something like...

Name: Golem Rocketeer
HP: 54
Power: 18
Armor: none
Block: none
Recovery: 1
Movement: 2
Range: 4-5 Tiles
Special: When the rocket hits it emits a small dosage of poison that lasts 2 turns on every unit were adjacent to the hit unit. Poison deals 2 damage a turn (deals a total of 6 damage 2 for first hit, 2 for first turn, 2 for second turn)

Take maps advice and use his example as a template.
You haven't told us if the attack is blockable or not.
And as a RULE (jeeesh i hate that word.)
Golems have 60 hit points....

If it had 1 turn recovery you could kill clerics too easily.

And try to elaborate on your ideas before posting a random thought.

Damn i hate that rule lol. Golems also have a long turn recovery and no block.
You'd be suprised how many people give Golems block.

the way i look at golems must have a few of the following
60 hp
2o damage
2 movement
no block
no armor
now id doesnt have to have all of them but at least 3 of them to be a golem
