This is meant to be a small and quick single-elimination tourney for turtlers that want a break from all those power turtles and rushing the turtle games have turned into. An opportunity to present your turtle virtue in an uncommon way. A 16 player entry is expected, but I will leave enough time for 32 players aswell if necessary.

I want people to sign up not for TAL points, but for BG's memory. That is why I will talk about TAL approval after the signups are closed.

Rules: It is a restricted turtle tourney. All participants will have to use a turtle similar to one of those a Bushido Gaiden Horseman was using. Monkus turtle. You have to use a stone golem, a cleric, a frost golem, a furgon and a LW. Stone golem must be placed in the back row or the corner of the second row with atleast 4 units in his stoning distance without initial movement.

The tourney will be held in Mithrandir's "strict" atmosphere. So a good PM is to be posted in the competent thread and deadlines are to be respected.

Actually you can pick 5.

If your 7 counts a dragon, you don't have to use one. At least thats what i got out it. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

It's debatable? Are people really not going to use 2 scouts and a mud? I was under the impression that you would have to use a cleric, frost, stone, LW, furgon, and by default, 2 scouts and a mud.

Anyway, this concern isn't huge I guess, so its still a good idea. It just struck me as odd that we can only pick 2 units. But I guess in a normal turtle game, everyone uses the same units anyway, so its not a problem

Turtles nowadays vary mostly in positioning only and whether you are playing with furgy or not.


Making the furgon and LW a must for both players adds to those varieties greatly. I will not talk about specific units just in case someone had a special formation in mind already.

Okay Hool. Ill slow this down a little since it seems you arent getting it. You want 40 sign ups and i signed up as 37th. Then Shinny got kicked out of the tournament leaving sign up spots 13, 38, 39, and 40 left. However, you said you were willing to start the tournament with only 36 participants, so what i want to know is who is going to get that 13th spot. Seeing as i was next to sign up, that would leave me as the "heir" to that spot, would it not? Thats what i want clarified.
