Lieutenant, I don't know how many times I've explained this to you, but it's enough that I'm tired of it. There is no "should" statement here that is appropriate. The guidelines Meat and I set in the TAL thread are guidelines, and we give them minor adjustments where we feel they are appropriate.

And Pxn, I would like an S/S of both the opening and the end, just because in this tournament it makes it more fun for those of us not playing. :)

For some strange reason I thought DSM could be killed in first turn with LW on same side, so I chose to go first. How wrong was I, from there I was down a unit the whole game.

It was down to his scout and DT vs my scout and DT as well. I blocked LOS with my Stone from a side hit on my DT, he went for frontal 60% hit, which my DT blocked, next turt I killed his scout with DT, after that he killed my DT. It was down to his armor DT vs my scout at 4hp I think, his Dt needed 2 hits to died. I hit a 60% frontal on his DT and went back, then he moved his DT I protected Scout with Stone, he killed stone and retrieved. I waiting 2 turns because his blocking was high then went for a 51% frontal hit, and got it. That was game.

I just mean you do the round robin again, except you're going to switch who is player 1 and who is player 2. For instance, the first time in the match between Pxndx and Powza, Pxndx was player 1. Now Powza will be player 1 in their matchup.

Description: Game was pretty entertaining actually, it was in one moment when I had LW, stoned scout and Dragon vs. stoned dragon and cleric. After exchanging blows, I got his Dragon to 13 hp, which he then healed, but messed up by bringing up the scout too close. Not a misclick, but a mistake I simply noticed right after he said the comment, "interesting move".

It was in that moment when he made the comment, that I knew game was his, and that it was all over. Regardless, great game, and played flawlessly by both sides.

Description: Excellent game, just perfect. I had a great start after pulling him fully into his area, it was in one moment where I had scout, knight, stone, LW and Cleric and he had dragon, stone, cleric and LW. I thought game was won from that point. How wrong was I! Not only did I make some noobish moves, but he managed to kill my scout and make it knight-drag duel. We made at least 2-3 rounds between Dragon and Knight where it seemed game would end up my way, but he simply refused to lose, and resisted. I had his dragon at 37 and cleric full, and I had my 38 stoned knight, LW, Stone and cleric. It was in this point of the game, where he did something he hadn't done before, try to kill the cleric .I managed to take his cleric,while he took mine, and weaken his dragon, but my knight was already at 11. We then stood at our LW's and we simply goofed around there (mainly him). But then, I made the horrible mistake of LW'ing a space and he simply busted the dragon in. After at least 30 turns it took him a win. I must say this game was just the best I've had this year. Whether I lost or won, I would say a game like this should've been recorded.

Good job Pedro, you do deserve the 3 TAL more than I do. :)

So did I. This just proves why you shouldn't surrender if things look bad. You evidently deserved it, you played a way better mid-end game then I did, which is the reason for why you're the winner. :)

I do realize my mistakes and where I made them, but somehow I'm glad I did them, cos it pulled a much more competetive match.
