im paying, yet i cant play....

for those of you who dont quite understand, the great lakes server is having MAJOR troubles. i own a gold account on the great lakes server. and im rather upset that i STILL cannot get on my account to play. you can use the 'well you can always play as a gray on the other servers' position, but im paying to play, therefore i should be able to play as a gold on any active server. or at least they should bring up the down server a.s.a.p., which isnt four days later.

actually you know what...i remember Divine Right actually posted on this very subject the last time GL was having problems...and all of us golds were complaining about not being able to play...He said something along the lines of ...why don't you guys quit whining about the server being down, we are working on it...in the meantime play as a grey on another server...yeah that will probably be his response this time

i say whatever...I love my GL so I'm not gonna change servers...but seriously...even though 5 bucks is just a little we are still paying and we still deserve to at least be given some type of explanation of why we can't use the service we pay for

but again this isn't a democracy...its a monarchy, so we probably don't get a say unless we all leave

server us up and running fine now. but still, this is a re-occuring problem obviously, so why dont we try to come up with a solution. i got the 'whining' out of my system. now i am sieroulsy interested in a solution. my main suggestion is that since the gold accounts are paid for, that they be copied in all three servers. this does a couple things. a)makes sure no one takes our name onto a different server and is malicious with it. and b) ensures that we can play with our gold acct. at all times. and c) make gold's happy cuz we wont be limited to which server we can play. now im not saying that they re-do this thing so that we have the same army that we've amassed on every server, but just to have acct's on all servers might be a good fix.

What about people restricted to no playing because the game won't load? I am pretty sure I have whining rights because of that.

omega, game wont load cuz you have a crappy computer. theres nothing that the people at tactics arena can do about that... lol

I have a 2 week old emachine T2240. It has 2.20 GHz processor, I am hooked into a DSL modem, I think that is enough to play TAO. Let me play. I will be visciously spamming all forums until a freaking admin comes the hell in here and tells us what the hell is going on. Then I will spam until they help me solve my problem. If this sounds self-centered to you, it is. And I don't really give a rat's a$$ what you think so.
