I just got back from our town's fireworks show, them I'm going to my friends house and blowing up $150 of fireworks, then sleeping at his house. Shoud be fun.

Allow me to explain. If it were the Helen Keller of trees, it would indicate the tree is deaf, blind, dumb, and Mormon. This would then lead me to believe the tree would not make a sound due to the fact that it would not see it's sex partner, it would not hear it's sex partner, and cause theres an inverse relationship between respect and sects

My 4th was pretty good. I went to my friend's house that overlooks the Rose Bowl where they shoot off fireworks every year, so we watched that. Then i went to a party and kicked ass at beer pong. Then i drove home drunk and slept over at my gf's house. It was kinda crazy, but it was fun. I hate driving home while im still drunk. Its so nerve-racking, but it was getting late and she needed to be home.

well, im currently in San Jose and staying in a really nice hotel near the convention center and discovery park. We went to this giant festival, realised we needed to buy tickets to get food from the never ending line, and left to eat fondue. We ate, then my best friend and i walked with a bunch of her friends to the hilton right next to the park and got an amazing view of the fireworks and we could hear all the music from the stage. It was a lot of fun =]

Speaking of foreign..at our town's fireworks show there was almost as many Mexicans as americans. :*ph34r:

But I had a ton of fun. We were doing fireworks with these college kids who were drunk of their asses and we stayed out until like 1. Then we just went inside and ate for awhile. :)

Any fun plans for this year?

We're just having family over tomorrow. Gonna have a nice little cookout, and watch the fireworks over our lake. My friend's mom works at a country club in a gated & guarded subdivision where you'd have trouble finding a home for less then a few million. We'll be watching the fireworks there, getting free food. Probably more fireworks back home, then staying over somewhere. Should be pretty fun.

On Thursday, six of my friends and I went to see a fireworks show in the town next to mine. One of them lived in the area, so we could see them from her house. The house across the street from her's was vacant and it has higher elevation, so my buddy pulled his pickup up the driveway and we grabbed a couch from my friend's garage and plopped it in front of the truck. It was cooool! :cool:

Tonight, my sisters and I bought $200 worth of fireworks. We have this old cauldron, so I gathered up some firewood and started a fire. We roasted some hotdogs, and invited friends over. We cut the fireworks off at 11 PM, and then roasted some marshmallows. Got a lot of fireworks and food leftover, so I think I'll invite some of my buddies over tomorrow for some XBox Live and irresponsible fireworks shoostings!^^

We don't have many traditions as Americans, but I'm a fan of neighbors coming together on the 4th of July and lighting off fireworks in the streets.
I've always done it, and I always will.

My uncle spent a lot of money on fireworks, bought a bunch of black mambas and bottle rockets, fountains, some mortars and a bunch of other little stuff.

Well, one time we decided to all be standing around the black mamba while my uncle is lighting it and none of us really noticed until he started running away.. it felt like i got punched in the face from the boom it made. >_<

Oh, and one time one of the fountains fell over so it was shooting the fireworks towards us...we had to hide behind cars, it was scary. We felt under attack.

All in all, it was a pretty fun night. No one got hurt. :cool:

That happened to us last night too..a roman candle managed to tip over and a few shots hit my friends garage and made some black marks. Luckily no one got hit with it though.

I blew up so many fireworks yesterday in a city where all fireworks are illegal. We'd shoot a bunch off then drive a ways hear a cop heading to where we just were (or see in two cases). The best was shooting off those gigantor rockets up playground slides. They'd hit the bar at the top and go frickin crazy. Even fired off a couple mortars. This was all after a Barbecue. Good times.

My brother-and-law has been away for the last two Fourth's so he had a three year stockpile of bottle rockets, roman candles, fountains and mortars.

Unfortunately a lot of the bottle rockets were duds or just lame. So he chucked about 100 of them into a cardboard box. Set it in the middle of a cul-de-sac and put a lit fountain inside. It eventually became completely engulfed in flames and we had to put it out by stomping on it and throwing pots of water on it. Also, one quick thinker grabbed a bag of flour. Y'know, in case somehow it was a grease fire.

All in all one hell of a display.
