So a pirate walks into a bar and the bartender says, "why is there a steering wheel in your pants?" The pirate says, "I don't know myself, but it's been drivin' me nuts. Arrgh!"

But seriously, you know what drives me nuts? Seeing people type "an s/s." It's like when they pronounce the abbreviation they say "an ess ess." Come on people, this is not Nazi Germany, you are not writing a secret diary. The letters stand for a word, pronounce the word. It's "a s/s," just like you'd say "a screenshot." No vowel sound necessary.

I know, I'm a lunatic for caring about this, just humor me.

So ... I started to read an article today about why China sucks, and the first sentence contained the phrase: "things we take for granite." I loled and closed the window. Proper use of the language is important, because you'll never be taken seriously by people who really matter (like me! :rolleyes:)
