There's a game I've been looking forward to for some time called Kongai, an electronic version of a collectible card game. It's pretty easy to pick up, and it's pretty fun. My main gripes with it right now are that the randomness is a bit much some time (so TAO players will be right at home!), and that to collect cards you have to play other flash games on the site it's on, most of which are meh. But it's still fun. My name is plums_in_us, I'm still quite a noob at it but come play me anyhow ;)

(Sorry if this sounds like an ad... :P)

EDIT: And now there going down for maintenance right now! :P Well it should be back by morning...

yOU PLAY ON kONGREGATE???? (sorry for caps)

I've been beta on Kongai for a while now actually.

I hang out in Sanctuary room, not bad with Scotti and Koko running mad house there.

Well not really, just Kongai. Most of the other Kongregate games don't interest me all that much. I've been reading David Sirlin's (the game designer of Kongai) blog thing for awhile, he's a really smart guy.

Cool, I'll come hang out sometime.

Kongai's fun, but I've not really had the time to get into it.

I'm Magician there (duh!), you can find me in The Garden. I'd agree that a number of the games are meh, but there's a few really good ones that are quiet fun, covering a range of genres - from RPG to action to puzzle, it's got something for everyone.

I'm going to shut up now and catch my train.

Cya!

When you get back, tell me which ones you recommend. So far I haven't really found anything that's (a) fun (b) not a rehash of some old console game which is more fun on the console. Kongai brings the number of Flash games that I really enjoy up to 3, the other two being TAO and N (aka N Ninja).

"What do you mean you missed the train!?"

"Well, I had this really important forum post to make, and then someone told me about a video game I should try, and..." ;)

Have fun!
