Have TAO Sponsor "Official" Tournaments at a regular, specific time every week. For example, every Tuesday at 7pm a GL Tourney will be held; Azn_Guy will be the tourneament director, and all tournaments must start by 7:05pm.

Tuesday

6:45 pm : Sign Ups start
7:00 pm First Round Begins
7:45 pm First Round Ends
8:00 pm Second Round Begins

etc... until one match remains.

This way we can plan on being in a tourney, it will start on time, and it will move along.

All games lasting longer than 45 minutes will be re-started (?).

Actually, this kind of demands one of my other suggestions, and that is an alternate time-keeping method akin to the Chess Clock.

You guys did so well on the Chess Rating System, have you considered the merits of a Chess Clock System?

Yes, I would be pleased to host this regular tourney. Yes, on Tuesdays at 7pm PST. But I have to be asked. ^^

Regular tourys sound good, time limit on how lone game can be doesn't sound good. Sometimes games can drag on for the oddest of reasons, not just because people are stalling.

Aye, a chess clock would be a bad idea, methinks. I prefer it if patient people have the advantage in that they can wait for the perfect moment to strike instead of having to attack quickly for fear of running out of time...
