View Full Version : Two Ideas

The General is a veteran of war, but instead of fighting on the battlefield, he offers his years of experience to knights. To keep him safe, he wears an immense amount of armor. In times of need, he can cover nearby units.

Name: General
HP: 45
Armor: 50%
Range: 3 (1 square)
Wait: 2
Move: 3
Block: 0%

The General's "attack" gives a knight +8 attack bonus for the knight's next attack. Once the knight attacks, the atk bonus fades. The General can also target a non-knight unit and he will take any damage that would go to that unit. The transferred damage is not affected by the General's armor. Paralysis and Poison does not transfer. (example: A witch attacks a covered Cleric. The General would take 24 damage and the Cleric would live.)

Name: Time Ward
HP: 35
Range: 5 (Focus)
Wait: 4 (Start wait: 2)
Armor: 0

The Time Ward focuses to decrease the wait on the targeted unit by 1, down to a minimum of 1. So a witch would now only wait 2 for moving and attacking, the scout would not have to wait after moving, and the knight/assassin would remain the same even after being time warded to give a few examples.

Any comments welcome.

Improvements on the general itself, Does he go into a focus when covering? what if the witch attacked both the general and cleric? would that break the focus?

also the general has no blocking? for being a military strategist, and experiance on the battlefield, im surprised he cant block.

the time ward is an interesting idea, but you might want to boost the wait time on it up, so you could only use it in tough situations. (maybe like 6?)

all in all they were pretty good idea's
